The Mavericks allow the third-most rebounds per game to opponents (51.0). In 32.0 minutes, Poeltl is averaging 10.8 boards. He played 38 minutes in the recent overtime game against the Lakers, but he grabbed 14 boards, so it's not like his per-minute average is significantly inflated. I really don't understand this number. This is one of the more obvious overs I've seen. He hasn't grabbed fewer than eight rebounds in any game this season. What's the rationale for 8.5 against a team this poor on the glass?

The Knicks won't enjoy the same home court advantage that they get as Madison Square Garden, but I'm rolling with them anyway. The Bulls' best player, Zach LaVine, is banged up with a torn ligament in his thumb, and while Chicago has looked impressive in the early going, the Bulls haven't really played an above-average opponent. Getting the lowry Pistons twice in four games is a major reason Chicago is currently second in the NBA in defensive rating. With LaVine attempting to play through the injury -- there's still a chance he could sit Thursday -- I think the Bulls could finally be in for a rude awakening against a deep, competent opponent.
Jacob Lebowitz: Montrezl Harrell OVER 16.5 Points + Wizards ML vs Atlanta parlay (+404) -- WynnBet, 2:12 PM CT
The Wizards have started this season off impressively well, going 3-1 with wins over the Raptors, Pacers and Celtics. Although the Wizards will be without Daniel Gafford, Montrezl Harrell will look to continue one of the best starts to a season so far in his career. Harrell is averaging 17.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. Harrell has scored 17 or more points in two games this season, so I expect him to score at least 17 once again in a game where he will start and likely see 35+ minutes. Atlanta is coming off a narrow victory over the Pelicans on Wednesday, and they will stay on the road. I expect Harrell to dominate offensively against a tired Hawks team.
