Jesse Siegel: The ACC will get shut out of the College Football Playoff. #HotTake

Chris Benzine: Stanford avenges its only loss of the regular season in a rematch with USC while running back Bryce Love's performance in the title game also earns him his rightful place in New York. The Cardinal vault from the No. 14 preseason rank to make the College Football Playoff, but that's as far as Love and his Cardinal brethren make it. Ohio State takes home the title and quarterback J.T. Barrett earns himself some (Heisman) hardware.
John McKechnie: LSU will be the disappointment of the SEC this year, finishing 7-5 and getting Coach O fired in the process. Matt Canada's offense doesn't change the fact that Danny Etling (who almost got beat out by a true freshman that got to campus this summer) is still the quarterback.
