Thursday, August 13, 6:35am EDT

Projected Starters

LHP Ariel Miranda (5-6, 4.16 ERA) vs. RHP Pan Wei-Lun (2-3, 8.80 ERA)

Game Preview

The two teams meet again a day after the Lions delivered a 10-0 thrashing to the Brothers, a game in which Chen Chieh-Hsien and Su Chih-Chieh combined for five hits and six RBI out of the top two spots in the order. It was the fifth win in six games for Uni, which will try to extend their streak with the inconsistent Pan Wei-Lun on the mound.

What makes the game even more intriguing is the fact both pitchers faced each other a week ago and each pitched very impressively. Miranda held the Lions to one unearned run over seven innings while recording seven strikeouts, while Wei-Lun yielded two earned runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings.

Top Picks/Captaincy Options

Wang Wei-Chen, Brothers- Despite an 0-for-4 night on Wednesday, Wang is always a viable choice out of his usual leadoff spot. The five-year veteran is still slashing .358/.387/.476 for the season with 22 doubles, one triple, four home runs, 27 RBI, 61 runs 11 stolen bases. Wang is also an excellent contact hitter, giving you a higher chance at a strong return since he's typically putting the ball in play.

Chan Tzu-Hsien, Brothers- Chan boasts an impressive .356/.433/.549 line with 24 extra-base hits (10 doubles, one triple, 13 home runs) and 54 RBI. He scored 32 Dream11 points three games ago against the Lions, and even in last night's poor performance for the Brothers, he managed eight Dream11 points.

Chen Chieh-Hsien, Lions- As mentioned earlier, Chen was a big part of the Lions' 10-run onslaught Wednesday with three hits and two RBI out of the leadoff spot. Chen's season line now sits at astounding .390/.440/.497 with 25 extra-base hits and 40 RBI, and he's added 14 steals for good measure.

Su Chih-Chieh, Lions- Su belted his 21st and 22nd home runs of the season Wednesday as part of a four-RBI night that saw him reach safely four times and accumulate a sensational 53 Dream11 points. His season line now checks in at .304/.384/.619, and he boasts 41 extra-base hits overall, 64 RBI, 69 runs and even 10 steals.
