AlphaDraft LoL: Saturday/Sunday Cheat Sheet
I like Cloud9 and SK Telecom T1 to make it out of Group B and Team SoloMid and Royal Never Give Up to get out of Group D on Saturday and Sunday. That fact is reflected in my lineup on AlphaDraft. I would avoid IMAY, especially Road who is serving a one match ban on Sunday.
Top Lane: Impact (C9 vs. SKT, FW, and IMAY, $7,400)
Impact is a pretty cheap option considering he is likely to go 2-1 on Saturday. I don't think the SKT game will go well, but the other two games should see Cloud9 win. His cheap salary allows us to pay up for some big name carries.
Jungle: Svenskeren (TSM vs. RNG, SSG, and SPY $7,700)
TSM should make it out of their group and have a good shot at going 3-0 if they can beat Royal on Saturday. Svenskeren has been playing great, even in TSM's one loss. He's relatively cheap, but has excellent upside.
Middle Lane: Faker (SKT vs. C9, FW, and IMAY $8,400) and Bjergsen (TSM vs. RNG, SSG, and SPY, $8,000)
We get Faker and the NA version of Faker into our lineups today. Paying up for Faker hasn't exactly worked out yet, but he's due to go off and SKT should be able to 3-0 this week. Bjergsen also has a good chance to go off and has dominated in TSM's two wins.
ADC: Bang (SKT vs. C9, FW, and IMAY, $8,300)
Like Faker, Bang has yet to truly put up a huge stat line, but it could happen at any moment. SKT should 3-0 and Bang is excellent at putting up dominant KDA's where he rarely dies. His reliability is a big reason to pay up for him.
Support: Smoothie (C9 vs. SKT, FW, and IMAY $7,000)
Grabbing the cheapest support that I expect to get out of groups allows us to pay up for all the carries in our lineup today. That said, C9 should go 2-1 again and Smoothie has a great chance to get to 10+ assists in their wins.
Team: C9 vs. SKT, FW, and IMAY ($3,100)
Likewise C9 are cheap, but as I said I think they go 2-1 yet again. No problem paying this salary for a team that should win the majority of their games.
