I'm still not entirely sure just how good he is, but dang if he hasn't improved substantially from last year, turning the Bears into a team that defied common sense by how they lost to a team that defies common sense by how they win. - Spread: Eagles -7 (-105 Fanatics), Bears +7 (-108 DraftKings)
- Moneyline: Eagles -325 (BetMGM), Bears +285 (FanDuel)
- Total: Over 44 (-110 Bet365), Under 44.5 (-112 DraftKings)
This line is as stagnant as they come, opening at 7 and staying there, while the betting splits reflect that with the bets and money barely over 50 percent in favor of the Eagles. The total has moved down slightly from the 45.5 opener, with a whopping 90 percent of the bets and 94 percent of the money on the under. In my estimation, this move is due to the weather, which looks more like Chicago than Philly. While it is supposed to be a sunny and crisp 43 degrees, the large front that is bringing howling winds to the Midwest now moves east, bringing winds of 20+ mph for Friday afternoon. I would not be surprised if the total continues to move down as we get closer to game time.

Bears vs. Eagles Betting Picks
Full disclosure, I hate the Eagles. HATE. I came into this writing session guns blazing, ready to take the Bears on the ML to keep this magical run going. But, I'm a professional, and as my analysis deepened, I can see why Philly is the heavy favorite this week. For one, they are coming off a loss, and you have the think the Chicago tightrope will snap with a loss sooner or later. And, the defending champs are off a brutal loss to a bitter division rival. Second, the Bears really haven't faced a good defense much less a great one, and I have to give credit where it is due, the Eagles are nasty on the defensive side.
Finally, the weather. The Philly offense blows, but Chicago's is heavily reliant on Caleb Williams making plays. If it is as windy as expected, the passing game will be hindered and it will turn into a field position/running game. That favors Philly but, even more so, it favors the under, and that's where I'm hanging my hat for this one. I'd suggest you get it quick before the 44.5s disappear.
