2025 Fantasy Outlook
A fifth-round pick out of Notre Dame in 2024, Estime earned a small but steady role in the backfield late in the campaign, with his first two career rushing TDs coming in the final three regular-season games. The bruising back was a healthy scratch for Denver's wild-card loss to Buffalo though, and while the offseason departure of Javonte Williams leaves the team without a clear RB1, the Broncos added second-round pick RJ Harvey and free-agent signing J.K. Dobbins. Those two are favorites to get most of the backfield work, likely leaving Estime, Jaleel McLaughlin, Tyler Badie and Blake Watson to compete for one or two roster spots. Read Past Outlooks

Healthy scratch Week 12
Estime (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Estime joined the Saints' active roster in early November to provide the Saints with more backfield depth after Kendre Miller tore his ACL in mid-October. Estime saw five snaps (three on offense, two on special teams) in Week 10 against the Panthers, but he will be a healthy scratch for Sunday's NFC South clash. That leaves Alvin Kamara and Devin Neal as the Saints' two running backs on the active roster for Week 12. Estime's next chance to play is Week 13 against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 30.

This Week's Opposing Pass Defense
How does the Falcons pass defense compare to other NFL teams this season?
The bars represents the team's percentile rank (based on QB Rating Against). The longer the bar, the better their pass defense is. The team and position group ratings only include players that are currently on the roster and not on injured reserve. The list of players in the table only includes defenders with at least 3 attempts against them.

Taken in the fifth round in the 2024 Draft, Estime joins a crowded Denver backfield that saw Javonte Williams, Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin all handle 100 or more touches last season. The Notre Dame product offers a physical, smash-mouth profile the others lack, giving him a clear path to a goal-line role, especially if the Broncos want to try and avoid more wear and tear on Williams' knees. Power backs such as Mark Ingram have thrived in Sean Payton's offense, so there is a template for success for Estime, but he'll need to beat out the competition first.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Projected cut per Kosmider
Nick Kosmider of The Athletic believes Estime won't make Denver's 53-man roster.
ANALYSIS
Kosmider has Estime failing to make the team even if Denver keeps four running backs, with Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie snagging depth spots behind J.K. Dobbins and rookie second-round pick RJ Harvey. Estime rushed for 310 yards on 4.1 yards per carry in his rookie regular season, and the 2024 fifth-round draft pick could get a look from another team for a roster spot rather than having to settle for a practice-squad spot if cut by the Broncos.
