2023 Fantasy Outlook
Miller is arguably the wild card of the 2023 rookie running back class, both in terms of his prospect profile and his landing spot. Injury prevented Miller (5-11, 215) from pre-draft testing, leaving pertinent details such as size-adjusted speed unanswered and making it more difficult to contextualize his spectacular production at TCU. Miller averaged 6.7 yards on 361 college carries, including 1,399 yards and 17 touchdowns on 224 carries last season, but with only 29 catches in 33 games. The Saints were confident enough to draft him in the third round, though it's unclear how soon they might give him playing time with Alvin Kamara and free-agent acquisition Jamaal Williams around. A Kamara suspension and injury to Williams is all it would take for Miller to get a starting audition, but the rookie won't be any higher than third on the depth chart this summer. Read Past Outlooks

Didn't participate at rookie camp
Miller (knee) didn't participate in the Saints' rookie minicamp, John DeShazier of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Miller suffered a right MCL sprain during the College Football Playoff semifinal against Michigan and wasn't able to participate at the NFL Combine or TCU's Pro Day. The rookie third-round pick remained unavailable for the Saints' rookie minicamp, but he was still present and worked on his conditioning while watching from the sidelines. He has said he expects to be fully healthy for training camp, but he'll have an uphill battle for playing time behind Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams. Miller was a downhill runner in college, totaling 1,399 yards and 17 touchdowns on 224 carries during the 2022 campaign. However, he's a mostly unproven pass catcher, recording just 29 receptions for 229 yards across three seasons at TCU.
