Back with Carolina
The Panthers and Moore agreed to terms on a one-year contract Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Moore suited up for all 17 of Carolina's regular-season games in 2024, putting up a 32-351-3 receiving line on 57 targets. The 30-year-old will spend the offseason working to be a reliable depth option behind Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette (foot), with Jalen Coker currently looking like the favorite for the No. 3 role. The Panthers remain a candidate to add further playmakers to the wide receiver corps this offseason, whether via April's draft or more additions in free agency.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews finished the season strong and should stay busy during the playoffs, especially if WR Zay Flowers is sidelined by a knee injury

A 2017 seventh-round pick of the Seahawks, Moore developed into a complementary option over his four years with the team. Last season, he posted career highs in catches (35) and touchdowns (six) to go with 417 yards on 47 targets. He parlayed that production into a two-year deal with the Panthers, who figure to incorporate him behind starting receivers Robby Anderson and DJ Moore. Rookie second-rounder wideout Terrace Marshall also represents notable competition, and in an offense with do-it-all running back Christian McCaffrey, Moore's weekly upside is restricted.

Latest Fantasy Rumors

Slated for WR3 duties
Moore is set to serve as the Panthers' No. 3 wide receiver behind Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette for Sunday's game against the Eagles due to Jalen Coker being unlikely to play with a quadriceps injury, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.
ANALYSIS
Coker suffered a setback in practice this week, going from a full participant Wednesday to a DNP on Friday. Coker's absence Sunday will open the door for Moore, who has played at least 43 offensive snaps over his last five outings. Moore has been particularly good in the two games following the Panthers' Week 11 bye, registering 11 catches on 19 targets for 121 yards and one touchdown over that span.
