Quiet in Week 10
WRCarolina Panthers
November 10, 2024
Moore caught two of his four targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
The veteran wideout's production hasn't increased despite more opportunities following Diontae Johnson's trade to the Ravens on Oct. 29. Moore has now caught just four of his eight targets for 28 yards across Carolina's last two games. With Adam Thielen (hamstring) expected to return from injured reserve in the near future, Moore will likely be demoted to the Panthers' No. 4 wide receiver spot.

2017
A 2017 seventh-round pick of the Seahawks, Moore developed into a complementary option over his four years with the team. Last season, he posted career highs in catches (35) and touchdowns (six) to go with 417 yards on 47 targets. He parlayed that production into a two-year deal with the Panthers, who figure to incorporate him behind starting receivers Robby Anderson and DJ Moore. Rookie second-rounder wideout Terrace Marshall also represents notable competition, and in an offense with do-it-all running back Christian McCaffrey, Moore's weekly upside is restricted.
Moore was on radars heading into 2019, but he played a major backseat role to Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf, generating just 17 catches for 301 yards and two touchdowns. The 25-year-old is a skilled burner, but that's not a unique role after the Seahawks acquired Phillip Dorsett as well. Moore has a chance to beat out Dorsett for the No. 3 job, but the Seahawks' run-heavy scheme leaves a low ceiling for any wideouts other than Lockett and Metcalf.
Moore became a hot item in deeper leagues between Weeks 5 and 8, when he scored four touchdowns over three games. Unfortunately, he fell off after that and averaged just 14.9 receiving yards per game - with only one score - over the final 10 games. Heading into his third season, Moore has shown enough promise to be a sleeper in some leagues, especially since Doug Baldwin retired and rookie D.K. Metcalf is an unknown. The breakout appeal lost much of its luster when Moore suffered an arm fracture in August, likely knocking him out for the start of the regular season.
Moore, a seventh-round selection in April's draft, spent the past four seasons dominating at East Central in Oklahoma. A great combination of size (6-1, 219 pounds) and athleticism (4.43 40-yard dash, 36.5 vertical jump), Moore could turn out to be a late-round hidden gem. However, with plenty of bodies at wideout, the rookie may not get an opportunity to flex his receiving skills in 2017. Instead, he'll likely focus on adapting to the professional level of play as a reserve option or special teamer.

Latest Bears player in trouble
WRChicago Bears
July 7, 2022
Moore, who was arrested late Sunday night for controlled substances and weapons offenses in Gainesville, Texas, is the third Bears player to be arrested this offseason, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Not only is Moore the third Bears player to run afoul of the law over the last few months, he's the second who's yet to even play a down for the team when factoring in Byron Pringle's arrest for reckless driving without a license in April. Moore's alleged violations included possession of THC edible candies and three pistols that were considered to be unlawfully carried. Moore eventually could be the subject of league discipline, irrespective of whether or not he's ultimately convicted of some or all of the charges.
