2025 Fantasy Outlook
After four seasons in Seattle, Dallas joined Arizona in 2024 and played all 17 games for the club. He contributed little on offense, getting a career-low 12 touches, but he scored one receiving touchdown and added another on a 96-yard kickoff return in Week 1. The Cardinals' backfield is crowded with James Conner and Trey Benson at the top, and Michael Carter and Emari Demercado in depth roles, but Dallas' special-teams value should keep him on the roster. Most of Dallas' contributions came on special teams, where he returned 15 kickoffs for 459 yards and one touchdown.

Dallas spent the first four seasons of his career as part of the Seahawks' revolving door in the backfield, contributing as a return man and on special-teams coverage units but never showing enough on offense to make a strong case for a larger role. A lack of experience as a running back limits his ability to turn his speed and balance into production, as he played wide receiver and even quarterback in high school prior to being converted to RB in college. After signing with the Cardinals in March, Dallas should fill a similar role in Arizona.
Dallas is heading into the final year of his rookie deal with a lot to prove as a running back. He's been solid in small samples through three seasons in the NFL, but he has yet to top 35 carries or 21 receptions in a campaign. He'll struggle to get on the field again in 2023, as the Seahawks selected RBs Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet in the second rounds of the last two drafts. Dallas' skills as a returner provide a good chance to stay on Seattle's roster, but rookie seventh-round pick Kenny McIntosh could make a push for the No. 3 role by year's end.
Dallas served as the Seahawks' primary kick returner and led the team's backfield with 21 receptions (for 133 yards), despite handling just 152 offensive snaps through 17 games. A pass-catching role could come in handy with the team's two primary backs (Rashaad Penny and Kenneth Walker) lacking in that capacity. However, Travis Homer is trusted more in pass protection. There should be room for both Dallas and Homer on the roster now that Chris Carson retired, but it's a fool's errand to predict which back will handle the third-down workload in a given week.
When Chris Carson sat out four games in 2020, Dallas ended up as the Seahawks' lead back twice, registering 97 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns on 32 touches Weeks 8 and 9. The 2020 fourth-round pick made little impact outside of those two contests, but he proved to be useful depth and a capable pass catcher. Carson returns on a two-year deal, and Rashaad Penny will be 21 months removed from ACL surgery when Week 1 kicks off. At best, Dallas is the No. 3 running back in the rotation, and he'll need to beat out Travis Homer for that title.
Dallas joins his former Miami teammate (Travis Homer) in Seattle's backfield. While he has a fourth-round selection working in his favor, Homer started over Dallas in college despite being the younger of the two. Dallas' speed - 4.58 40-yard dash - isn't anything to call home about, but he did average a whopping 6.0 yards per carry in his final season at Miami. There's definitely a fantasy ceiling here if there's a serious slew of injuries, but Chris Carson is expected to be ready for Week 1, Carlos Hyde is there if he's not and Rashaad Penny should be ready by midseason. There's no redraft value without the aforementioned injury bug.

Could play more down stretch
RBArizona Cardinals
December 22, 2024
Dallas could see an expanded role in Arizona's last two games of the season, as James Conner suffered a knee injury during Sunday's 36-30 loss to Carolina, per Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site.
ANALYSIS
If Conner's sidelined moving forward by his knee injury and Trey Benson remains out due to an ankle injury, Dallas and Michael Carter would be Arizona's top two remaining running backs. Dallas scored a receiving touchdown on his only touch against the Panthers while Carter logged five carries and five catches. Arizona has little reason to rush Conner or Benson back, as the Cardinals have been eliminated from playoff contention.
