2025 Fantasy Outlook
Ramsey will be a shoo-in for an every-down role at cornerback if he remains in Miami, but it seems like a foregone conclusion that he's traded at some point this offseason. He started all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and continued to demonstrate a high playing level, despite failing to earn Pro Bowl honors for the first time since his rookie campaign in Jacksonville. Wherever Ramsey ultimately lands, he'll be counted on as a plus-level starter. Read Past Outlooks
Trade expected before training camp
The Dolphins are expected to finalize a trade dealing Ramsey before training camp, and the cornerback's preferred destination would be a West Coast team such as the Rams or Chargers, Dante Collinelli of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ramsey and Miami appear united in a mutual desire to part ways, and it's unsurprising that interested teams would want the veteran cornerback present for the start of training camp. Both teams in Los Angeles would benefit from adding a proven starting boundary corner such as Ramsey, though Rams coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that "there would be some obstacles that are real that are in the place of maybe preventing that from occurring," though he said the team is "always open-minded to onboarding and acquiring quality players." The Steelers have also reportedly emerged as an interested party among the Dolphins' trade talks.

Though Ramsey is entering his age-30 season and was only able to suit up for 10 games in 2023, he remains a reliable option at cornerback and a pillar of Miami's secondary. Even if Ramsey has lost a step, the signing of Kendall Fuller from Washington sets up the Dolphins to field one of the league's best cornerback duos on the perimeter. That will need to be the case, given that this defense is looking to replace longtime standout Xavien Howard, and could be without Bradley Chubb early in the 2024 regular season while he recovers from an ACL tear.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Won't attend minicamp
Ramsey won't report to the Dolphins' mandatory minicamp as the team attempts to find a trade partner for him, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Miami's minicamp begins June 10, but the veteran cornerback won't be in attendance. Ramsey is still capable of playing at a high level, but with the Dolphins looking to shed salary and get younger, clearing his contract off the books has become a priority. The 30-year-old still has three years and $20.2 million in guaranteed money left on his deal.
