27-Year-Old LinebackerLB
Denver Broncos
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Cooper impressed in 2024, finishing the season with 58 total tackles (33 solo), including 10.5 sacks, one pass defensed and one forced fumble over 17 regular season games. Cooper and fellow linebacker Nik Bonitto combined for 24 sacks, the most of any edge-rush duo in the league. The 27-year-old should continue to be a staple of a formidable Denver defense, as the aforementioned tandem should wreak havoc on opposing offenses in 2025. Read Past Outlooks

One sack in win

August 24, 2025
Cooper recorded two tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks in Saturday's 28-19 win over the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Cooper played just 12 snaps in the contest and made the most of his playing time by getting to Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler for a sack. The 27-year-old outside linebacker is set to reprise his role as a member of one of the best edge-rush duos in the league alongside teammate Nik Bonitto. Cooper recorded a career-high 10.5 sacks in 2024, and he'll look to continue to be a dominant force in Denver's elite defense this season.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Cooper heads into the 2024 campaign on the last year of his rookie deal, coming off an impressive 2023 season. The veteran linebacker's career-high 8.5 sacks last season led all Broncos, and his 72 total tackles were the third-most of any of the team's defenders. A key member of Denver's defensive unit, Cooper will look to improve upon last season's strong performance in a contract year. The 26-year-old should thus remain a solid option in IDP formats this season.
Cooper enters the 2023 campaign as the likely backup to Randy Gregory at strongside linebacker. The 25-year-old appeared in 14 games last season, recording 48 total tackles and two sacks. Cooper should provide solid depth to a strong linebacker corps in Denver.
