Rest-of-Season Projections
Elevated for Week 11
Buffalo elevated Latu from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
ANALYSIS
The undrafted rookie out of Washington was unable to make the Bills' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he opted to stick around in Buffalo as a member of the team's practice squad. Latu will be available for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, when he'll provide additional depth at tight end in the absence of Dalton Kincaid (hamstring).

Developmental piece for Buffalo
Joe Bescaglia of The Athletic posits that Latu is an intriguing developmental player for the Bills heading into training camp in July.
ANALYSIS
Latu signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent in April. He wasn't known for his pass-catching prowess during his four-year college career, but the 6-foot-7 tight end out of Washington demonstrated impressive athleticism, route running and natural catching ability during OTAs and minicamp. Latu's next challenge is to exhibit his competency in run blocking when pads go on in late July. Even if he doesn't crack the Bills' 53-man roster, Buscaglia believes that Latu has enough talent to stick around and develop with the practice squad.
