Today's schedule is packed with 12 games on the docket, but the latest starts are at 9 p.m. ET, so even fans on the East Coast will know most, or potentially all, of the results before going to sleep. Here are my DFS selections for this busy night.

SLATE PREVIEW

The heaviest favorites on FanDuel's moneyline are Tampa Bay (minus-315) and the Rangers (minus-310), who are both at home against Chicago (plus-250) and San Jose (plus-245), respectively. In contrast, Anaheim (plus-104) at Boston (minus-125), Vancouver (minus-110) at Nashville (minus-110) and Utah (minus-102) at St. Louis (minus-118) are fairly even matchups.

GOALIES

Igor Shesterkin, NYR vs. SJS ($8,000): Shesterkin has been dominant this season with a 1.17 GAA and a .957 save percentage in six outings. He has a mediocre 2-3-1 record despite his phenomenal play due to a lack of offensive support from his teammates, but, as noted above, the Rangers are heavy favorites to beat the 0-4-2 Sharks, so there's a very good chance Shesterkin picks up a win tonight.

Connor Hellebuyck, WPG vs. SEA ($7,900): Hellebuyck is one of the best goaltenders of his generation, and this will probably be another superb campaign from him. He's gotten off on the right foot with a 4-1-0 record, 2.21 GAA and .927 save percentage in five appearances. Seattle is tied for 21st in goals per game with 2.71, so the Kraken haven't been especially good at challenging opposing goaltenders.

Thatcher Demko, VAN at NAS ($7,800): After a disappointing, injury-plagued 2024-25 campaign, Demko is healthy this season and seems primed for a comeback. He's 3-1-0 with a 2.28 GAA and a .922 save percentage in four outings this year. Meanwhile, Nashville is off to a quiet start offensively, recording just 2.43 goals per game, which ranks 29th in the league.

VALUE PLAYS

Tyson Foerster, PHI at OTT ($5,000): Foerster set career highs with 25 goals and 43 points in 81 outings with the Flyers in 2024-25, and he might exceed those totals this year. He's collected two goals and five points through six appearances this season. That offense has been evenly disrupted – he's been held off the scoresheet just once in 2025-26.

Nino Niederreiter, WPG vs. SEA ($5,000): Niederreiter is entering tonight's action on a four-game scoring streak in which he's contributed two goals and four assists. The power play has been an important part of his recent success, with three of those six points coming with the man advantage. Niederreiter's offensive production will likely come and go throughout the 2025-26 campaign, so consider him during hot streaks and look elsewhere when he's cold.

Anthony Mantha, PIT at FLA ($4,800): Mantha has three goals and six points through seven appearances this year. He's not expected to sustain that pace – the 31-year-old has never hit the 50-point mark in a regular season – but this might end up being one of his best campaigns offensively. It helps that Mantha is playing alongside Evgeni Malkin ($6,300), who has shown up on the scoresheet for four of Mantha's six points.

Trevor Zegras, PHI at OTT ($4,800): Zegras is coming off a pair of rough campaigns with Anaheim, but a change of scenery might be doing him some good. Zegras has recorded an assist in each of his past five games, and two of the helpers during that stretch have come with the man advantage. Speaking on the power play, Zegras and Foerster are both projected to play on Philadelphia's top power-play unit Thursday, so there's some synergy there if you want to select both of those affordable forwards.

FORWARD LINE STACKS

Flyers at Senators

Sean Couturier (C - $5,600), Owen Tippett (W - $5,900), Travis Konecny (W - $5,600)

The Flyers' top line is a nice option today if you want a trio of reasonably priced forwards. Couturier is red hot with two goals and seven points across his past four appearances, while Tippett has netted four goals in his last three games. Konecny has been limited to a goal and three points in six appearances this year, but he's coming off a 76-point campaign, so he should get going, especially after finding the back of the net in his last game Monday.

It helps that Philadelphia will be facing Ottawa, which ranks 31st in goals allowed with 4.71 this year.

Jets vs. Kraken

Mark Scheifele (C - $7,700), Kyle Connor (W - $7,900), Gabriel Vilardi (W - $5,600)

This is one of the league's best lines, and they're off to a fantastic start. Scheifele is on a six-game scoring streak to start the campaign, supplying seven goals and 10 points over that span. Connor has matched his six-game streak while recording three goals and nine points of his own.

Vilardi hasn't been as productive, but he's still a decent grab at his price. The 26-year-old has four assists through six outings this year after finishing the 2024-25 regular season with 27 goals and 61 points in 71 appearances.

DEFENSEMEN

Cale Makar, COL vs. CAR ($7,000): Makar is the cream of the crop when it comes to offensive production out of a defenseman. He already has three goals and eight points in seven appearances this year, which would be an incredible start for most blueliners, but, for him, it's just normal. It's entirely possible for Makar to reach the 90-point mark for the third straight regular season.

Adam Fox, NYR vs. SJS ($6,500): Fox has three goals and six points in eight appearances this year, which is pretty solid, especially when you consider how lackluster the Rangers' scoring has been overall. A game against the Sharks might help spark New York. San Jose is at the bottom of the league in goals allowed per game with 4.83.

Lane Hutson, MON at EDM ($5,900): After being held off the scoresheet in his opening two games of 2025-26, Hutson got back on track with a goal and six points across his past six appearances. He also got his first point with the man advantage Wednesday, and if he's starting to heat up on the power play, then that will go a long way toward sustaining his high level of production.
