GOALIE
Pekka Rinne, NSH vs. VAN ($8,100) – Over the past two seasons, Rinne is 4-2-0 with 10 goals allowed against the Canucks, who have won just three of their past 10 games. The Canucks have been powered mostly by just one line — Bo Horvat's — and their defense is getting healthy, but the Predators are 7-1-1 since acquiring Kyle Turris and have provided tons of goal support. Rinne is shooting for his sixth straight win and allowed just two goals in his past two games against the Blues and Blackhawks.
WING
Jonathan Marchessault, VGK at MIN ($6,500) – He had his three-game multi-point streak snapped in a loss against the Stars, but the Wild present an opportunity to get back on track. After starting the season featuring one of the league's most stingy defenses, the Wild have allowed 13 goals in their past two games, and four goals against the lowly Sabres before that, pushing their goal differential into the red. The Knights are an offense-by-committee team, but Marchessault is a fixture and shooting the puck at a higher rate than before. James Neal ($6,000) is a viable option, too.
Brock Boeser, VAN at NSH ($5,500) – Just because he's been held without a point with a minus-4 rating in his past two games doesn't mean he's lost his luster. He scored a shootout goal against the Rangers, so he's still got that scorer's touch, and at this price level he's one of the better bargains. He's the Canucks' main trigger man, and even though he's facing a tough team, he's been a fixture on the top line. Rookies tend to hit a wall later in the year, usually after the Christmas break, so there's no need concern for Boeser yet.
Clayton Keller, ARI at CGY ($5,400) – He snapped a three-game slide with an assist against the Oilers, but with 21 points in 27 games and averaging more than 19 minutes per game, he continues to be one of the league's top rookies. This will be Keller's first career game against the Flames, and he shouldn't have trouble creating scoring chances. The Flames defense has some big names but they don't really play like a top unit, having allowed 12 games in their past three games after holding the Capitals and Blue Jackets to one apiece. That defense is frustratingly inconsistent, and against teams with faster players — such as the Leafs and Stars — they've been having a lot of trouble keeping it out of the net.
CENTER
Sean Monahan, CGY vs. ARI ($7,200) – Monahan has 16 points in 12 games in November, and with 26 points in 24 games, he's poised for a breakout season that could see him score over 70 or 80 points for the first time in his career. It helps that the league-wide crackdown on slashing has helped open up the game for linemate Johnny Gaudreau, but the Coyotes also look like they're headed for the lottery yet again. In 19 career games against the Coyotes, Monahan's scored 14 points, more than any other team he's played against.
Kyle Turris, NSH vs. VAN ($5,200) – He's scored seven points in nine games with the Preds and 16 points in 20 games for the season, putting him on pace for another 50-60 point season. His role has changed a little because Nick Bonino can take off some pressure on defense, and with Ryan Johansen facing the opposition's top pairings, that's allowed Turris a little more leeway on offense. Turris' career numbers against the Canucks aren't very good, but with a new role and a new team he's worth taking a chance on.
DEFENSEMEN
John Klingberg, DAL at CHI ($5,700) – The Central Division is tough, but that doesn't impact Klingberg, who's scored 63 points in 85 games against divisional opponents, including 11 in 13 games against Chicago. After a "down" year that saw his point totals dip by nine, Klingberg has 21 points in 24 games for the Stars this season. He's just a step below the league's top-tier defenseman.
Drew Doughty, LA at WAS ($5,600) – If Doughty wants the big bucks, he's gotta put points on the board. That's what most people focus on, after all. So, it's a good thing Doughty is on a three-game point streak with four assists, and with 18 points this season is on pace to set a career-high, perhaps even hitting 60 points. The Capitals will not be an easy opponent, but if past history is any indication, Doughty is a driven player who will be looking to back up his comments with his play.
