Goalie
Roberto Luongo, FLA vs DAL ($7,800): Luongo still has a lot of good hockey left and if his last two games are any indication, he shows as a tremendous value option Tuesday. In his last two contests, Luongo has stopped 69 of 72 shots. The Stars shoot a lot, increase Luongo's upside and should make him a great bargain play in net.
Center
Ryan O'Reilly, BUF at PIT ($5,400): The Sabres head to Pittsburgh looking to get the offense going against one of the worst defensive teams in the league. O'Reilly skates on the second line and top power-play unit for the Sabres and sees over 20 minutes of ice time per game — including over three with the man advantage. The Penguins have allowed the fourth most fantasy points to centers over the last four weeks, and O'Reilly comes in with three goals in his last six games.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, EDM vs VGK ($4,900): The Golden Knights started off the season with a ton of momentum but they have lost five of their last seven and have struggled with centers of late. In the last four weeks, they've allowed the fifth most fantasy points to centers. As a pivot off Connor McDavid, Nugent-Hopkins provides a tremendous discount and has six goals and six assists on the year. He has three assists in his last three games and is seeing upwards of 18 minutes of ice time, as well.
Wing
Kyle Connor, WPG vs ARI ($4,300): The Jets are starting to hit their stride with a 6-1-3 record in their last 10 games. Connor is a nice affordable option skating on the top line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler. With two goals and six shots on goal in his last three games, he is taking advantage of his plum role. Furthermore, he spends nearly three minutes of his 18 minutes of ice time on the power play.
Sam Reinhart, BUF at PIT ($4,200): Reinhart is skating with Jack Eichel and Evander Kane and checks out as a value option with the two high-priced studs. He has been moved up in an attempt to get him going offensively, as he's gone pointless in his last five games and has just five points all season.
Boone Jenner, CBJ at MTL ($5,000): While the Canadiens are playing better with a 7-3-0 record in their last 10 games, they have struggled with left wingers recently. Over the last four weeks, they've allowed the fifth most fantasy points to the position. Jenner is averaging 19 minutes of ice time with around two of those coming on the power play. With 2.54 shots on goal per game, Jenner is a nice value in this matchup.
Defense
Zach Werenski, CBJ at MTL ($5,200): Montreal has allowed six goals and 26 assists to defensemen — and even more substantially — 12 power-play points over the last 13 games. Werenski should be licking his chops for this matchup.
Jacob Trouba, WPG vs ARI ($4,600): The Coyotes have been lit up all season by opposing defensemen, and Trouba is as steady as they come. Expect Trouba to be involved offensively both at even strength and on the power play, and he should block some shots as well.
