The day before Thanksgiving offers up a bountiful feast of 15 NHL games. Let's dig in to find some of the best values…
Goalie
Thomas Greiss, NYI vs. PHI ($27)
Greiss presents immense value Wednesday after notching three straight wins. The German goalie's peripherals aren't outstanding, but he gets plenty of goal support from the offense in front of him -- to the tune of 4.63 home goals per game. He should be able to get the job done against a struggling Flyers squad on the second half of a back-to-back that averages 2.50 road goals per game.
Goalie to Avoid
Anders Nilsson, VAN @ PIT ($39)
Nilsson is somehow the second most expensive option at goalie for Wednesday's slate despite seeing action in just six games and still maintaining the backup role in Vancouver. The Penguins have been disappointing this season, but they've been way better at home than on the road, sporting a 3.13 goals for average in Pittsburgh. Assuming Nilsson does indeed get the start, it would be silly to shell out that much cash for him.

Center
Ryan Johansen, NSH vs. MON ($18)
After a poor start to the season, Johansen has seemingly found his groove and is starting to provide the offensive firepower we've come to expect of him, registering two goals, three assists, and an outstanding plus-6 rating in his last three contests. The 25-year-old has a potentially juicy matchup against one of Montreal's struggling goalies and the team on the second half of a back-to-back, so take advantage of the low price while you still can.
Center to Avoid
Jack Eichel, BUF vs. MIN ($26)
Eichel entered the 2017-18 campaign with sky-high expectations and has by and large failed to live up to them thus far, as he enters Wednesday with five goals, 17 points, and a minus-9 rating. The Sabres offense can't seem to get it together -- even on home ice where they've scored just four goals total in the last three games -- and shouldn't be trusted to figure it out against a stout Minnesota defense.
Wing
Alexander Radulov, DAL @ COL ($22)
Radulov has been a point-machine after a relatively slow start to the season, recording 16 of them in his last 12 contests. The Russian winger receives loads of ice time on a potent first power-play unit that converts 27.4 percent of its chances and will get to face a Colorado penalty-killing unit that is only successful 76.3 percent of the time. Colorado starting backup Jonathan Bernier seals this deal.
Elias Lindholm, CAR vs. NYR ($16)
With so much exciting young talent on the Hurricanes' roster this season, Lindholm has generally fallen to the wayside, making him a sneaky pick at a low price Wednesday. The Swede picked up two goals and an assist in his last four games and continues to see a healthy amount of ice time, both at even strength and on the power play. Lindholm could take advantage of a Rangers team allowing a league-worst 4.14 road goals per game.

Wings to Avoid
David Pastrnak, BOS @ NJ ($26)
With linemate Brad Marchand (undisclosed) sidelined, Pastrnak has not looked like his usual self of late, as the 21-year-old had no points and just five shots on goal in the last three games. With Marchand slated to sit Wednesday as well and Boston potentially without several of its other key assets, Pasta could find himself excluded from the scoresheet once again.
Brandon Saad, CHI @ TB ($21)
After beginning the season with eight points in six games, Saad has found himself on the scoresheet just twice in the last 14 contests. Even worse, the 25-year-old holds a minus-3 rating over that span, blemishing his reputation as a solid two-way player. The Lightning are arguably the best team in the league on both ends of the ice right now, so don't count on Saad breaking out of his slump Wednesday.
Defense
P.K. Subban, NSH vs. MON ($22)
Like many of his teammates, Subban has played significantly better on home ice this season than on the road -- despite playing in two fewer games, the Toronto native has six more points in home contests than he does in away games and boasts a plus-4 rating in Nashville compared to the paltry minus-7 he shows on the road. With the opportunity to shine against his former team Wednesday, Subban should be worth the asking price.
Morgan Rielly, TOR @ FLA ($17)
Rielly continues to emerge as a serious scoring threat from the blue line, as he has now racked up 17 points through 22 games and has cemented himself as the quarterback for Toronto's first power-play unit. The young blueliner will have a good chance to keep padding his stats against a Florida team that has been very bad at keeping the puck out of the net at home, allowing a league-worst 4.22 goals per game.
Defensemen to Avoid
John Carlson, WSH vs. OTT ($23)
Although Carlson has managed four assists in his last five contests, some of his peripheral stats signal some larger issues -- the Massachusetts native's minus-4 rating over that span has caused his plus-minus for the season to balloon to a concerning minus-8. Against a team like Ottawa that has proven to be effective on both ends of the ice, Carlson could continue to struggle.
Dustin Byfuglien, WPG @ LA ($22)
Usually a perennial scoring threat, Byfuglien has yet to find twine this season and has just 10 assists through the first 18 contests. While his defensive metrics are solid, Big Buff can't be relied on solely for those in this daily format, and he's not likely to break many big plays offensively against a stout Los Angeles team that is allowing a miniscule 2.38 goals per game.
