Game Preview

Americans Eric Jokisch and Aaron Brooks both allowed just one run in the second game of the series, but the Heroes were once again victorious after scoring a pair of runs against the Tigers' bullpen. The Heroes turn to Choi Won-tae as they look to sweep the first series of the season. The 23-year-old righty has improved his ERA in each of his first five seasons in the league, posting a 3.38 mark in that category last season. His 15.8 percent strikeout rate is low even for the KBO, but he kept runners off the basepaths with a strong 5.4 percent walk rate and allowed just five home runs. His counterpart on the hill for the Tigers will be 27-year-old righty Lee Min-woo. He's so far failed to establish himself in the KBO, struggling to a 5.43 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP in 32 appearances last season, all but six of which came in relief.

Top Picks

Choi Won-tae, Heroes: With both pitchers carrying the same 14-credit price tag, Choi makes for the obvious choice at the position. Choi has a much stronger resume and is facing an offense which finished second-last in the league in runs scored last season, while Lee Min-woo is forced to take on last year's strongest lineup.

Park Byung-ho, Heroes: Players should jump at Park's very reasonable 13-credit price tag. The veteran slugger hasn't hit fewer than 30 homers in a KBO season since 2011 and already has three hits and a homer so far this season.

Kim Ha-seong, Heroes: Kim has been a catalyst out of the second spot in the Heroes' order so far this season. He's reached base four times through two games, scoring three runs.

Choi Hyung-woo, Tigers: Choi could be the best captain choice for those looking to bet on the Tigers in this contest. The 36-year-old has remained a strong hitter in the latter half of his career, hitting at least .300 while slugging at least .485 in seven straight seasons.
