FPL GW12: Teams With the Best Upcoming Fixtures and Players to Target

Now that 11 Gameweeks are completed, we finally have enough data to judge teams by form and fixture difficulty. With AFCON approaching and several sides hitting strong scheduling runs, this is one of the most important windows of the season to target high-upside teams.

Below is a breakdown of the best fixture runs for FPL GW12–GW16, which teams offer the most consistent returns, and the top players to consider from each squad.

FPL GW12 Fixture Difficulty Ranker: Teams With the Best Upcoming Schedule

RotoWire's Fixture Difficulty Ranker evaluates upcoming matches based on league table, goals scored and goals allowed. The below screenshot is based on league table.

Liverpool: Strong Run for Both Attackers and Defenders

Liverpool have been inconsistent, but their upcoming run offers a genuine opportunity for FPL managers. Upcoming fixtures against Nottingham Forest, West Ham, Sunderland and Leeds provide a strong platform for both defensive and attacking returns.

While Mohamed Salah may still be hard to justify because of his price, Virgil van Dijk is quietly becoming an appealing option. He has been one of the top performers for defensive contributions, second only to Marcos Senesi this season, and Liverpool rank inside the top five for clean sheet probability across each of the next four Gameweeks. Dominik Szoboszlai could also become a differential to monitor, although managers should note he is one yellow card away from suspension.

Bournemouth: Ideal Short-Term Fixtures (GW12–GW14)

Bournemouth have an appealing three-match window between Gameweek 12 and 14, facing West Ham, Sunderland and Everton. If fit, Antoine Semenyo is the standout pick. He sits comfortably at the top of the midfielder rankings this season and continues to deliver strong numbers. He left Ghana early because of an ankle sprain over the weekend, but it's not believed to be serious.

At the back, Senesi remains the go-to option, consistently racking up defensive contributions and offering a steady floor of points. Those looking to double up could pair him with left-back Adrien Truffert, who benefits from the same encouraging fixture run.

Manchester United: High xG and Favorable Opponents

United's next four matches feature Wolves, West Ham and Everton, which should allow their key attackers to continue producing. United rank among the top five teams for expected goals this season, and that's not expected to drop given upcoming fixtures.

Bryan Mbeumo and Bruno Fernandes both stand out, offering multiple routes to points. Matheus Cunha is another intriguing option, especially with Mbeumo heading to AFCON soon and Benjamin Sesko sidelined for up to a month. Cunha's minutes should increase, making him a shrewd differential.

Brighton: Great Long-Term Fixtures Through GW16

Brighton's fixtures remain attractive with Brentford, Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa, West Ham and Sunderland among their next six opponents. Yankuba Minteh continues to look like one of the best midfielders in his price bracket. He is secure for minutes, has strong attacking output and benefits from several favourable home fixtures.

Jan Paul van Hecke is a budget-friendly defensive pick who offers consistency, and with Brighton keeping back-to-back clean sheets, their defence is showing signs of improvement.

Crystal Palace: Elite Attacking Fixtures and Form

Palace's fixture run remains excellent with a home game against Manchester United surrounded by away trips to Wolves and Burnley. They sit in the top three for expected goals this season, and Jean-Philippe Mateta continues to trail only Erling Haaland for expected goal involvement.

Ismaila Sarr is also in great form, ranking second among midfielders for non-penalty xG. In defence, Daniel Munoz offers attacking threat, Maxence Lacroix provides defensive contribution stability and Chris Richards remains one of the best budget enablers in the game.
