2025 Fantasy Outlook
Mitoma's third season in Brighton saw him set a bevy of new bests, including 10 goals and 2,608 league minutes played. Even with the bevy of options in the squad, Mitoma seems to have a set role on the left wing to himself, at least when fully fit. Assuming that's the case again, 15 goal contributions are in play, if not more. As always with Mitoma, though, those are likely to come in bursts with plenty of dry spells such as his nearly two-month period without a goal contribution in the middle of last season.
Doesn't have clear timeline
Mitoma (ankle) was spotted on the pitch earlier in the week but doesn't have a clear timeline to return, coach Fabian Hurzeler said in the press conference. "It's not an easy thing to predict. In the last international break I said it's just a question of two or three weeks. But now he's getting close. He has to handle the pain, so it's not a big issue, everything is healed, so he should be fine. We just have to see how he can handle the pain."
ANALYSIS
Mitoma is progressing well after being spotted training with the team, but his status remains uncertain because he still does not have a clear timeline to return. He could make the match squad in upcoming fixtures, and that will likely depend on his sensations after the final training sessions before games. Until then Diego Gomez is expected to hold a larger role for the Seagulls in the frontline.
