2025 Fantasy Outlook
Dorgu joined Manchester United in the January transfer window and immediately became a regular, starting 10 his 12 Premier League appearances. He offers decent upside in some categories, such as crosses and tackles, but he was far from being a game-changing player on the left side of the defense. Dorgu has the potential to produce more as seen in his time at Lecce, but United don't really have that No. 9 who will connect and head in crosses. Wing-backs always provide a bit more value in fantasy and there's a chance Dorgu sees an uptick in his averages next season, but projecting more than five goal contributions seems like a stretch for the 20-year-old.
Scores goal before injury
Dorgu was forced off in the 81st minute of Sunday's match against Arsenal due to an apparent injury, according to manager Michael Carrick. "Pat's been a big player for us, obviously he's scored two goals but in terms of the threat and athleticism and quality, he's been immense down the side with Luke [Shaw] against two teams that ask a lot of questions. I am delighted for him because the two goals he's scored are very different goals. It's nice to see him smiling and happy. He obviously came off with, hopefully, a little bit of cramp, hopefully, it's nothing worse. At this stage, it's hard to tell, so we'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully it's not too bad."
ANALYSIS
Dorgu would almost make it the full 90 Sunday, but was off the field just ahead of full time, suffering what appeared to be a hamstring injury after a great performance that saw a goal. That said, this is a third match in four appearances with a goal contribution, meaning this could be a rough loss if he misses further time. He has been playing a more advanced role, so if he were to miss time, Benjamin Sesko would probably enter the starting XI again at forward, while Matheus Cunha settles for more of a midfield role.
