2025 Fantasy Outlook
Livramento broke through during the 2024/25 season with 32 starts in 37 appearances, reaching nearly 3,000 minutes. He played both left- and right-back, moving to the left side after Lewis Hall went down injured late in the season. Despite taking the spot of Kieran Trippier in the XI, his attacking numbers were fairly dour with just six shots and 26 chances created. He's a lock for the starting XI and has stayed healthy in his short career, but a lack of attacking upside limits him in fantasy with most of his numbers of the defensive variety for Newcastle.
Unlikely to return this year
Livramento (knee) is unlikely to return before 2026 due to the setback of his injury, coach Eddie Howe said in the press conference. "We don't think it's a serious injury. The complication we have is that Tino has injured that knee before in a very similar area. That always makes the potential recovery time a little bit longer. I don't think we'll see him possibly before 2026."
ANALYSIS
Livramento suffered a setback to his knee injury in the same area as his previous one, and although the issue is not considered serious, the defender is unlikely to return to the match squad before 2026, as this type of injury typically requires a longer recovery period. This is a massive blow for the Magpies, as they are running out of options in the backline due to injuries, which will force coach Eddie Howe to change his system or deploy players in unnatural positions, with Lewis Miley emerging as an option to feature in the backline.

Suffers knee problem
Livramento is already a doubt for Saturday's clash against Chelsea after suffering a knee problem in Wednesday's 2-1 victory against Fulham in the Carabao Cup, coach Eddie Howe said in a press conference, according to Jordan Cronin from NewcastleWorld. "It looks like a knee problem, which Tino's had issues with knee injuries before so he had to come off, and he's such an honest, dependable lad. That sends worrying signs, really, for his participation maybe in the Chelsea game. Let's wait and see."

Could return Saturday
Livramento (knee) trained with the team during the international break and could make his return for Saturday's clash against Manchester City as he is in good shape, coach Eddie Howe said in the press conference. "He's very close. He's trained in the international break which is great to see. He's such an important player for us and it's great to have him back training with the group. He's done a lot of work. He's been very, very good professionally with how he's dealt with the injury and the work he's done with the physios so I'd say he's in good shape."
