Bajcetic (hamstring) suffered multiple setbacks of his injury and is currently not training with the team, coach Arne Slot said in the press conference. "He's not training yet. So, he constantly gets close to the team and then he has a little setback and then comes close and has a little setback, so we're hoping and expecting to have him very soon, again. But at that moment of time he trains with us again, then he's been out for six, seven, eight months [with] no first-team training. So, as much as I'd like to have him back, we have to manage the expectations with him as well."

Frimpong (hamstring) is ruled out for several weeks but the injury isn't as bad as expected, coach Arne Slot said in the press conference. "He will definitely not be in the squad tomorrow, so he is out for a few weeks. But [it's] not as bad as we thought he would be out. It's something positive from something not so positive."

Gomez (undisclosed) is nearing a return from injury but remains out for Saturday's clash against Newcastle, coach Arne Slot said in the press conference. "Joe will not be available but that doesn't have to take much longer anymore but he will not be available for the weekend."

Isak (ankle) will remain out for a while due to injury since he is still not training on the pitch, coach Arne Slot said in the press conference. "No, he's not even on the pitch yet. I think it's called a walker, he's just out of his walker, so that tells you that he's not on the pitch and not expecting him on the pitch today or tomorrow in terms of his recovery work. That's going to take a while before he's back, as we knew."
