Van Dijk is still one of the best center-backs in the world and he anchors one of the top defenses in the Premier League. He's always going to pile on the defensive volume, and generally puts together a handful of goal contributions each season. He's logged at least 30 starts every season with Liverpool, which kind of says it all. After securing 14 clean sheets in 37 starts last season, he should again be near that number with similar overall stats expected in 2025/26 no matter what Arne Slot decides to do with the Liverpool formation.
