Best WNBA Bets Today: Sunday, August 17

Kelsey Plum over 2.5 made three-pointers (+110)

DraftKings Sportsbook, 8:55 a.m. CT

Kirien Sprecher: Plum has made at least a trio of three-pointers in two of her last three, four of her last six and 11 of her last 15 appearances. In the Sparks' previous two outings against the Mystics this season, Plum totaled six made three-pointers on 11 attempts.

Paige Bueckers over 20 points (-115)

DraftKings Sportsbook, 8:58 a.m. CT

Kirien Sprecher: Bueckers has scored at least 20 points in five of her last seven appearances. She's taken at least 19 shots in two straight games, and when the rookie has attempted at least 18 this season (nine games), she's averaged 22.3 points and scored 20 or more points in six of those contests. The Wings will need all the usage they can get out of Bueckers. Arike Ogunbowale remains out, and the Aces have picked up steam after a rocky first half of the campaign.

Alyssa Thomas to record a triple-double (+370)

DraftKings Sportsbook, 9:05 a.m. CT

Kirien Sprecher: The Queen of triple-doubles, Thomas has four this season, including three straight earlier this month. The Storm are reeling after a strong first half of the season, while Phoenix appears to be picking up steam with Thomas at the controls. Over her last 17 appearances, Thomas has averaged 17.1 points, 9.4 rebounds and 9.1 assists in 32.4 minutes per game, so she just barely needs to outplay her averages for a nearly 4x payout.
