Pitcher
Jerad Eickhoff, PHI at SD ($7,400) – There really aren't any top-tier options worth the price on this slate, so we have to dig a little deeper to find Eickhoff. Eickhoff has the best matchup on the board and he's been pretty solid over the past couple months. Eickhoff has allowed more than three runs just once in his past seven starts and he's posted six or more strikeouts four times during that span. The Padres enter with the third-highest K% against righties this season, which should allow Eickhoff to get to at least six strikeouts.
Catcher
James McCann, DET at TEX ($2,500) – Martin Perez has posted three quality starts in his past six games, but in those other three starts, he's surrendered 20 runs in just 15 innings. The point is, he's just as likely to pitch well as he is to get blown up on a nightly basis, so stacking against him is a high-risk, high-reward proposition. With that in mind, I'll stay away from the stack and just pick my spots. One of those spots is James McCann, who comes at a low price and has high upside because of his .431 wOBA against lefties this season.
First Base
Mark Reynolds, COL vs ATL ($3,300) – It's not often that you can find any starter at Coors Field for a price this low, especially one with the upside of Reynolds. Reynolds enters with a .390 wOBA against righties this season, which is top-25 in the majors.
Second Base
Jonathan Schoop, BAL at SEA ($3,800) – Yovani Gallardo has managed to avoid the blowup over the past couple months, but he's consistently surrendering multiple runs and failing to reach the sixth inning in almost every start. Gallardo enters with a 5.38 ERA and he hasn't posted a quality start since early June. Schoop enters with a .368 wOBA against righties this season, which is second on the team behind Trey Mancini.
Shortstop
Didi Gregorius, NYY vs NYM ($3,500) – After facing Chris Sale on Sunday night, Rafael Montero is going to be a welcomed sight. Montero enters with a 6.03 ERA and has surrendered four or more runs in his past three starts. Gregorius enters with a .378 wOBA against righties this season, which is third on the Yankees. Almost all of his power has come against righties this season as well, with 16 of his 18 home runs coming off right-handed pitching.
Third Base
Mike Moustakas, KC at OAK ($4,200) – Jharel Cotton enters with a 5.72 ERA, but that doesn't quite tell the tale of how poorly he's pitched over the past couple months. Cotton has surrendered four or more runs in four of his past six starts and has posted just one quality start in his past 11 outings. The Royals are one of the better stacking options on this slate and Moustakas should be at the top of that stack. Moustakas enters with a .383 wOBA against righties this season, which is second on the team behind Eric Hosmer.
Outfield
Steven Souza Jr., TB at TOR ($3,400) – Though the Rays as a team have fallen into a slump over the past few weeks, Souza has managed to keep up his production. Souza Jr. has a great chance to keep up his production and the Rays could be in for a big night against Nick Tepesch, who has struggled in two outings this season. Souza Jr. enters with a .391 wOBA against righties, which is tops on the Rays and too-25 in the majors.
Odubel Herrera, PHI at SD ($3,600) – A change of scenery hasn't done much for Travis Wood, as he's currently in a terrible rut. Wood enters with a 6.71 ERA, but he's been worse than that over his past five games. The Phillies aren't loaded with quality right-handed bats, but Herrera can certainly put up some numbers from time to time, especially against lefties. Herrera enters with a .365 wOBA against southpaws this season.
Charlie Blackmon, COL vs PHI ($5,100) – Blackmon's price remains very high, but he's certainly worth it, especially at Coors Field. Blackmon and the Rockies get a crack at Julio Teheran, who — in the midst of one of his ruts — surrendering 16 runs over his past 14.2 innings. Blackmon enters with a .419 wOBA against righties this season, which is top-10 in the majors.
