Pacers, Pistons Meet Again In Motor City
The Detroit Pistons will host the Indiana Pacers at Little Caesars Arena on Monday.

The Pistons (15-53) and the Pacers (31-37) will meet for the second time in three days. Their previous meeting ended with a 121-115 win for the Pacers in this venue on March 11. The loss marked Detroit’s 11th straight defeat, and now the Pistons own an 8-27 mark at home. Meanwhile, the Pacers are 12-21 on the road, winning three of their last four games.

During that game, Jalen Smith led the way for the Pacers with 20 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. Isaiah Jackson and Andrew Nembhard posted matching 19-point tallies, with Jackson adding 11 rebounds, two steals and two blocks, while Nembhard chipped in with eight assists and three boards. Buddy Hield finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals. Jordan Nwora and Oshae Brissett each had 11 points coming off the bench.

Isaiah Livers led the way for the Pistons with 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks. James Wiseman had 16 points and nine rebounds. Killian Hayes was impressive with a 17-point, 13-assist double-double that also included six rebounds and three steals. Rodney McGruder had 11 points.

When it comes to injuries, the Pistons will be significantly depleted. The list of absences includes Alec Burks (foot), Bojan Bogdanovic (Achilles), Jaden Ivey (COVID-19), Marvin Bagley (ankle), Isaiah Stewart (shoulder), Cade Cunningham (lower leg) and Hamidou Diallo (ankle).

The Pacers will be depleted as well. Buddy Hield (toe) has been tabbed as a game-time decision. Tyrese Haliburton (knee), Bennedict Mathurin (ankle), Myles Turner (back), T.J. McConnell (back) and Kendall Brown (lower leg) have been ruled out.
