Best NBA Bets Today

Royce O'Neale under 2.5 made threes (-140) at Minnesota Timberwolves

BetMGM, 3:32 PM CT

Alex Barutha: The Timberwolves allow the fewest points per game off spot-up attempts (23.5), which is how O'Neale scores 5.7 of his 10.8 points per game. He's actually performed fairly well in two prior games against the Wolves, hitting 3.0 threes on 50 3P%, but I think he'll have a more difficult time getting open looks without Devin Booker's gravity -- Booker being out with a groin injury.

Devin Vassell over 2.5 made threes (-123) at New Orleans Pelicans

DraftKings, 4:42 PM CT

Nick Whalen: The Spurs are getting Stephon Castle back tonight, but I still expect Vassell to play a key role in the continued absence of Victor Wembanyama. He's averaging over seven three-point attempts per game and is coming off of a matchup against Cleveland in which he took 13 threes in 30 minutes. Part of the handicap here is that New Orleans ranks dead-last in the NBA in three-point attempts allowed to opponents.

Trey Murphy over 25.5 PTS+AST (-117) vs. San Antonio Spurs

DraftKings, 4:42 PM CT

Nick Whalen: Blowouts are always a liability for the Pelicans, but for the most part Murphy has been able to dodge reduced workloads. He's played at least 31 minutes in every game this season and is trending closer to 35 MPG over his last 10. He's taken on more playmaking responsibility of late, averaging 5.8 assists per game over the last four , to go with 22.3 points per game on 49 percent shooting. The Spurs have regressed to the middle of the pack, defensively, without Victor Wembanyama, and they rank in the bottom 10 in the NBA in assists given up to opponents.

Maxime Raynaud over 6.5 rebounds (-132) at Indiana Pacers

FanDuel, 2:30 PM ET

Ken Crites: Rookie Raynaud has only one start this season, which occurred Saturday at Miami. The Heat have some talented bigs, but Raynaud still grabbed 10 boards in the Kings' weekend win. With Domantas Sabonis still out for Sacramento, Raynaud will get his second start tonight, this time versus the Pacers. Indiana ranks 16th in rebounds per game, much worse than the Heat. And PF Keegan Murray is questionable for Sacramento.  Murray's absence would mean more minutes for Raynaud. This is a lost season for the Kings (6-17), they should let the kids play.  Maxime Raynaud versus Jay Huff — this is why you pay the big money for NBA League Pass!  (Note sarcasm).  The K-Train is 6-3 on the season and 56-46 overall, so feel free to fade!

Zach LaVine Under 21.5 points (-114) at Indiana Pacers

DraftKings Sportsbook, 12:05 PM CT

Ryan Pohle: This line seems a little inflated after LaVine went off for 42 points Saturday against the Heat. That was a rare blowout win against a Miami team that leads the NBA in tempo. The Kings are an underdog tonight against Indiana, who are giving up the third fewest threes in the league. LaVine has been held in single digits five times already through 21 games. Too much inconsistency to bank on the over here.
