Bulls Defeat Jazz, 114-107
The Chicago Bulls defeated the host Utah Jazz, 114-107, at Vivint Arena on Monday.

While there were only three ties and six lead changes in this game, neither team led by more than 12 points. That was the Bulls in the fourth quarter, outscoring Utah in the third quarter, 33-20, to complete their comeback win. That allowed them to hold the lead for the closing 16 minutes. Chicago shot 22-of-25 from the free-throw line, while Utah connected on just 6-of-15. In addition, the Bulls won the turnover battle, 14-7, while outscoring the Jazz in the paint, 64-44.

The Bulls (9-11) were led by Demar DeRozan, collecting 26 points, three rebounds and six assists. Zach LaVine totaled 20 points, six rebounds and five assists. Nikola Vucevic generated 16 points, 10 rebounds and two assists, while Coby White led the bench with 15 points and two boards. Andre Drummond also provided 10 points and 10 boards off the bench.

The Jazz (12-11) were led by Lauri Markkanen, tallying 32 points and nine rebounds on 12-of-18 from the field. Kelly Olynyk compiled 23 points, four rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Collin Sexton had 17 points, four rebounds and six assists, while Jordan Clarkson finished with eight points, six rebounds and nine assists on 3-of-15 from the field.

Both teams return to action on Wednesday, with Utah remaining home to face the Los Angeles Clippers and Chicago staying on the road to play the Phoenix Suns.
