No teams are on bye during Week 13, but we still have a limited Sunday slate after four games were played Thursday and Friday. We'll be without some of the top players to choose from as the Lions, Chiefs, Ravens and Eagles are among the teams who will have already played. Let's dig into the Sunday FanDuel NFL DFS slate and highlight some of the top players to consider.
The Games
A lot of the focus of NFL DFS picks is on individual players. Skills certainly matter, but finding game environments that are likely to promote a lot of points scored is a way to narrow the focus of our player pool.
| Over-Under | Road Team | Road Team Total | Home Team | Home Team Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 44.5 | Rams | 27.5 | Panthers | 16.5 |
| 35.5 | 49ers | 20.5 | Browns | 15.5 |
| 44.5 | Texans | 20.5 | Colts | 23.5 |
| 41.5 | Saints | 17.5 | Dolphins | 23.5 |
| 39 | Falcons | 20.5 | Jets | 18.5 |
| 43.5 | Cardinals | 20.5 | Buccaneers | 23.5 |
| 41.5 | Jaguars | 23.5 | Titans | 17.5 |
| 41 | Vikings | 13.5 | Seahawks | 26.5 |
| 40.5 | Raiders | 15.5 | Chargers | 25.5 |
| 45.5 | Bills | 24.5 | Steelers | 20.5 |
This has the potential to be a low-scoring slate with no game having a total over 46 points; the favorites with the highest totals include the Rams, Seahawks and Chargers.
Value Options
Devin Neal, NO at MIA ($5,900): Alvin Kamara left the Week 12 matchup against the Falcons with a knee injury and did not return for the second half. He hasn't practiced yet this week, putting him in line to miss Sunday's game. While he is having a down season in an underwhelming Saints offense, he has still been one of their leading weapons, receiving 131 carries and 39 targets.
Neal led the way after Kamara suffered his injury, finishing the game with seven carries for 18 yards and five receptions for 43 yards on seven targets. Neal has dealt with an ankle issue at practice this week, but he is still expected to play. He has a great matchup against the Dolphins, who have allowed the fifth-most yards per carry and the fifth-most yards per target to running backs.
Dalton Schultz, HOU at IND ($5,200): Schultz couldn't get much going against the Bills last week, catching one of four targets for eight yards, but prior to that matchup he had at least five receptions and 51 receiving yards in five of six games.
The Texans could get C.J. Stroud (concussion) back this week. Even if he doesn't play, Davis Mills has already proven he can help Schultz be productive. Additionally, the Colts have given up the sixth-most receptions to tight ends, making Schultz a potential value option.
Other Value Options
QB Trevor Lawrence, JAC at TEN ($7,200)
QB Tyrod Taylor, NYJ vs. ATL ($6,700)
RB Woody Marks, HOU at IND ($6,400)
RB Zach Charbonnet, SEA vs. MIN ($6,300)
RB Bhayshul Tuten, JAC at TEN ($5,200)
WR Khalil Shakir, BUF at PIT ($6,300)
WR Jakobi Meyers, JAC at TEN ($6,100)
WR Jayden Higgins, HOU at IND ($5,600)
TE Juwan Johnson, NO at MIA ($5,500)
TE Gunnar Helm, TEN vs. JAC ($4,800)
Stacks to Consider
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Las Vegas Raiders
The Chargers were blown out by the Jaguars in Week 11, which resulted in Justin Herbert ($8,300) producing his worst stat line of the season, throwing for 81 yards, no touchdowns and one interception before eventually being pulled. As bad as that was, this is a great bounce-back spot against the Raiders, who have given up the 10th-most yards per pass attempt in the league. When Herbert faced them in Week 2, he threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns and added 31 rushing yards.
With Herbert struggling in his last game, Ladd McConkey ($7,600) only caught three passes for 13 yards, finishing with a season-low four targets. He's normally busy, accounting for 22.5 percent of the Chargers' targets and 26.1 percent of their air yards this season. He is the top option to stack with Herbert.
Arizona Cardinals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With the Cardinals defense struggling, Jacoby Brissett ($7,600) has attempted at least 44 passes in four of six starts, throwing for at least 258 yards in each game and recording at least two touchdowns in five. Expect him to throw a lot of passes against the Buccaneers, who have given up the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks.
Marvin Harrison Jr. ($6,700, appendix) could play after returning to practice on a limited basis. Whether or not he plays, Trey McBride ($8,300) is the most appealing player to add to a Cardinals stack. Since Brissett took over, McBride has caught 51 of 67 targets for 522 yards and six touchdowns across six games.
Other Stacks to Consider
Rams – Matthew Stafford ($8,000) + Puka Nacua ($9,300)
Seahawks – Sam Darnold ($7,400) + Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($10,000)
Titans – Cam Ward ($6,400) + Chimere Dike ($5,600)
High-Price Heroes
Bijan Robinson, ATL vs. NYJ ($9,500): Coming off a two-touchdown performance against the Panthers in Week 11, Robinson did not score a touchdown against Saints last week, though he ran for 70 yards on 14 carries and caught both of his targets for 37 yards. That marked his first game since Kirk Cousins took over as the Falcons' starting quarterback.
The Jets have had problems keeping running backs out of the end zone since they traded Quinnen Williams. Derrick Henry scored two touchdowns against them last week, while TreVeyon Henderson had two scores against them the game prior. Robinson comes into this matchup with plenty of upside.
De'Von Achane, MIA vs. NO ($8,700): Achane is fresh for this matchup after the Dolphins had a bye in Week 12. Prior to that, he smoked the Commanders for 165 total yards in Week 11, and he had 225 total yards and two touchdowns in Week 10 against the Bills. He's had at least five receptions in four straight games, and he is averaging 5.5 yards per carry for the season.
Achane is the centerpiece of the Dolphins' offense, especially with Tyreek Hill (knee) out. The Saints often fall into big deficits in games, which has contributed to their allowing the second-most rushing attempts in the league.
The Smash Spot
Josh Allen, BUF at PIT ($9,400): Allen couldn't get through a difficult matchup against the Texans last week unscathed; for just the second time this season, he did not record a passing or rushing touchdown. He also had two interceptions to go along with his modest 253 passing yards and 20 rushing yards. The Bills fell to 7-4 with the loss and are currently the seventh seed in the AFC.
The Steelers are just one game behind the Bills in the playoff standings, so this is an important game. This is a much easier matchup for Allen, considering the Steelers have allowed the second-most passing yards per game in the league. As he looks to put the Bills on his back to improve their playoff positioning, Allen could come away with a monster stat line.
