The NFL season continues to fly by, and a critical portion of the fantasy season is upon us. Roles continue to change and injuries are piling up, changing fantasy IDP values across the league at a prolific clip. We'll catch up on all of the biggest movers heading into Week 12.
Risers
Just as the 49ers' offense is starting to get healthy, the defense continues to lose bodies at a high rate. Tatum Bethune had taken over for Fred Warner in the middle of the unit, but he suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. Head coach Kyle Shanahan has already said that Robinson will be the next man up, and he could be in line for double-digit tackles for the next few weeks. Robinson is among the top waiver wire adds of the week for fantasy IDP.
Myles Bryant
CB
Bryant has operated as the slot corner for each of the last two games for the Texans with Jalen Pitre (concussion) sidelined. He's delivered 15 total tackles in that span, and Bryant could be in for another start with the Texans on a short week matchup against the Bills in Week 12. He should be considered as a potential IDP streaming option if Pitre is ruled out.
Winston is another player who has seen an increased role due to injury in front of him on the depth chart, but there could be some longer-term appeal in this instance. The Titans selected Winston in the third round of the 2025 draft and he has logged the majority of his defensive snaps in the last two weeks with Xavier Woods (hamstring) sidelined. Even if Woods returns, the Titans have little incentive to turn away from Winston, as the team likely envisions him as the future at the position. In a lost season for the Titans, it's time for Winston to get his chance, and he logged six tackles while playing 100 percent of defensive snaps in Week 11.
Trevin Wallace suffered a shoulder injury in Week 10, though the severity was initially unclear. Last Wednesday, head coach Dave Canales deemed Wallace week-to-week, and he then failed to practice in any capacity leading up to Carolina's matchup against Atlanta. Cherelus could be in line for an expanded role in the longer term, and he picked up 10 tackles on 81 percent of defensive snaps in the Panthers' Week 11 victory. He should be worth at least a Week 12 stream, and potentially more.
The goal of this article is to provide actionable advice, so typically I avoid mentioning players such as Garrett because he already should be widely rostered. However, his recent stretch of production has to be acknowledged, as he's recorded 11 sacks across his last four games and is already up to 15.0 on the season. He's two away from setting a new career-high and is definitely in range of setting the new single-season sack record.
Williams suggested that he would be benched after the trade deadline, but he played ahead of Francisco Mauigoa in Thursday's loss to the Patriots. He logged eight tackles on 95 percent of defensive snaps and looks to be a reliable fantasy IDP contributor for the time being.
Fallers
Cowboys linebackers
Presumably, this situation will sort itself out in the next few weeks, but there's a near-even rotation among the Dallas linebacker corps for the time being. DeMarvion Overshown returned from a serious knee injury in Monday's win over the Raiders, while Logan Wilson made his team debut. That duo led the team with just over a 50 percent snap rate, while Shemar James and Kenneth Murray were right around 40 percent. Both game script and unique circumstances likely led to this even split, but it's difficult to project exactly how things will shake out in the next few weeks, making it a challenge to trust any of these players as starting options until there is clarity.
The Bengals were supposed to be showcasing their linebacker corps of the future by benching and ultimately trading Logan Wilson. Barrett Carter has held up his end of the deal, but Knight has struggled. Oren Burks started over him in Week 11 against Pittsburgh, and Knight went on to log only 55 percent of defense snaps – his lowest mark of the year. Knight will probably bounce back at some point this season, but this situation could be a mess in the next few weeks.
