This week we have three consensus picks: the Chiefs, Bears and Eagles. Last week we went 1-4 to put us at 12-14-1 on the season. Last year we were 30-24-2 on consensus picks.

Erickson	Lots of home dogs this week - I'm taking all but one of them. I feel as if the Bears were in a letdown week last week and escaped, and the Titans are getting credit in the line for having their backs against the wall. I don't believe lines should be that way, though, so I'll take a smaller than expected line for them... The Cardinals pick is one of those "invest in a commodity at it's lowest value" type of picks. Same thing with the Chiefs... The Falcons/Cowboys pick was my toughest one. I have no idea what's going to happen in that game.
Pianowski	Not fond of this slate. I don't even feel that great about the Steelers, my so-called best bet, but I like how Pittsburgh generally shows up on the road (during the Tomlin era, anyway), and no one is afraid to play the Giants at home.
Liss	Started off liking the Bengals, Steelers and Redskins most, but the Cowboys, Raiders and Dolphins are growing on me.
Stopa	Miami vs. Indy will tell us who's contending and who's pretending. I see Miami as the contender. Indy matched up poorly with the Jets, and this matchup is similar... Is it so wrong to ask that the Chargers win a game before we make them a two-score favorite? It's time to sell the Titans high, and I doubt Chicago plays poorly a second straight week.
Del Don	I don't think I've ever made a road favorite my best bet, but no games jumped out at me this week, so I'll back a side that's likely to be considered a square.
