We were blessed with a relatively fun Week 11 slate just from a football perspective, but unfortunately we're headed back to dark territory this week. I continue to be inexplicably good with the totals and underperform against the spread. That's effectively the opposite of what I've done in past years, so I'm hoping that we'll course correct eventually.
Week 11 Record ATS: 6-8-1
Week 11 Record on Totals: 11-4
2025 Season Record ATS: 71-77-1

NFL Week 12 Predictions
In this article, we also take a look at NFL Week 12 odds and our predictions for each NFL game. Home teams are listed last.
Bills vs.
Texans
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Bills vs. Texans | Bills -6 | Buffalo 298; Houston +240 | 43.5 |
I don't feel particularly great about this call. I do anticipate sometime soon Buffalo's offense just feeling like the juggernaut we expected them to this season, but this is about as difficult of a situation for that to manifest. No C.J. Stroud (concussion) really doesn't allow for Houston's offense to pop either, even though I expect this to be a big Woody Marks game. If the running game is on as it's been against anyone Buffalo plays the past month, this game probably should be close. I just am wary about betting against Josh Allen doing MVP level things.
Spread Pick: Texans +6
Total Pick: Under 43.5
Jets vs.
Ravens
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Jets vs. Ravens | Ravens -13.5 | Baltimore -1000; New York +650 | 44.5 |
Tyrod Taylor is going to help New York's offense actually function, but this defense is pretty much toast. I'd expect this to be a relatively easy game for Derrick Henry, and hopefully the start of a fantastic regular-season finish for Lamar Jackson.
Spread Pick: Ravens -13.5
Total Pick: Over 44.5
Steelers vs.
Bears
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Steelers vs. Bears | Bears -2.5 | Chicago 148; Pittsburgh +124 | 45.5 |
While I'd love to see Aaron Rodgers own the Bears one more time in his career, I do think it'd be a bit of professional malpractice to do it this week after suffering a broken wrist in the win over the Bengals. The name of that injury might actually sound worse than it really is, but the way Pittsburgh runs their offense, I truly don't think it's much of a downgrade to Mason Rudolph. This really comes to what degree of Steelers defense we're getting. If the pass rush can be a constant headache for Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams, this should be a pretty easy win for the black and gold, but I'd be surprised if it plays out that way.
Spread Pick: Bears -2.5
Total Pick: Under 45.5
Patriots vs.
Bengals
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Patriots vs. Bengals | Patriots -7.5 | New England -375; Cincinnati +295 | 50.5 |
It feels entirely irresponsible for Joe Burrow (toe) to play with Cincinnati's season effectively over, but I guess they could technically win out and make it in. This feels like one of the worst short-sighted decisions a franchise could make in recent memory, but if Burrow is playing this week I do think that changes the dichotomy a bit. I happen to think New England is legitimately a good team, but they're do a let down game or two against opponents, it's just that those have come against teams with a competent defense.
Spread Pick: Patriots -7.5
Total Pick: Over 50.5
Giants vs.
Lions
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Giants vs. Lions | Lions -10.5 | Detroit -550; New York +410 | 50.5 |
This feels like another pretty easy no brainer in my opinion. Jaxson Dart evidently is trending towards playing after missing the previous week due to a concussion, but I don't think it matters much for this conversation. Detroit is a better team and will have an impactful ground game all afternoon.
Spread Pick: Lions -10.5
Total Pick: Over 50.5
Vikings vs.
Packers
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Vikings vs. Packers | Packers -6.5 | Green Bay -290; Minnesota +235 | 41.5 |
J.J. McCarthy has been predictably horrendous, but I think he'll have a get right game this week. His mobility will present an issue for the Packers, and Green Bay's zone defense will just give him some easy pitch and catches to begin the game. I think the Packers will win, but it's going to be one of those that come down to the final possession and probably will require a turnover forced to clinch the game similar to last week.
Spread Pick: Vikings +6.5
Total Pick: Over 41.5
Colts vs.
Chiefs
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Colts vs. Chiefs | Chiefs -3.5 | Kansas City -185; Indianapolis +154 | 50.5 |
Who would have guessed back in August this would be the game of the week, and arguably could be one of the games of the season? The Colts are coming off a bye and have a realistic chance to end Kansas City's postseason terror right now after the Broncos surprisingly ended any hope of an AFC West crown. If the total is actually in play I'd be a bit surprised if the Chiefs win, but I'm also comfortably taking the under on this one. I do wonder if this will just be one of those patented defensive battles from KC sides where timely plays help them be victorious. That extra half point is doing a ton of extra lifting for me though, and I think I'll take the bait on it despite usually recommending to fade those concerns.
Spread Pick: Colts +3.5
Total Pick: Under 50.5
Seahawks vs.
Titans
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Seahawks vs. Titans | Seahawks -13.5 | Seattle -950; Tennessee +625 | 40.5 |
It's another relatively easy one in my opinion. Tennessee is not built to go against offenses that can score two or more touchdowns, and I think they'll feel a bit of pressure to keep pace. I know Seattle is a pretty good team historically under Mike Macdonald on the road, but in today's NFL anyone is liable to have a bad game. I just think a bad game would be closer to the spread.
Spread Pick: Seahawks -13.5
Total Pick: Over 40.5
Jaguars vs.
Cardinals
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Jaguars vs. Cardinals | Jaguars -3 | Jacksonville -166; Arizona +140 | 47.5 |
This seems to be a popular upset pick. Jacksonville obviously is capable of flubbing games against inferior opponents with the best of them, and I truly don't think Arizona is anywhere near the worst five or six teams in the NFL. But at some point the Jaguars need to just win these sorts of games if they have any hope of making the postseason. There's no gimmies in the NFL, especially when you're on the road, but I do think Jacksonville has more to play for this week. The inexplicable embarrassing loss will come, just later in the year.
Spread Pick: Jaguars -3
Total Pick: Under 47.5
Browns vs.
Raiders
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Browns vs. Raiders | Raiders -3.5 | Las Vegas -192; Cleveland +160 | 36.5 |
This is a true sicko game. Don't engage with this whatsoever and you'll be in a healthier spot in life come Week 13.
Spread Pick: Browns +3.5
Total Pick: Under 36.5
Eagles vs.
Cowboys
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Eagles vs. Cowboys | Eagles -3 | Philadelphia -175; Dallas +145 | 47.5 |
I think there's going to be a point in time where Philadelphia's malaise is going to catch up with them, but I don't know if it'll be against the Cowboys. Dallas' defense just is too susceptible still, and more importantly, Jaelan Phillips and that Eagles defensive front have been so disruptive that I just think we're going to see problems created by that unit all year long.
Spread Pick: Eagles -3
Total Pick: Under 47.5
Falcons vs.
Saints
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Falcons vs. Saints | Saints -1.5 | New Orleans -130; Atlanta +110 | 39.5 |
This isn't quite to the level of sicko territory as LV/CLE, but it'd be in everyone's best interest to not engage with this game in any capacity either. Kirk Cousins has just looked like a complete shell of a quarterback, an no Drake London (knee) just rips through an already paper machete level target funnel. Atlanta's defense by default has to play better than they did last week, so I'm just assuming this will be a low-scoring contest that comes down to a game-winning/tying field goal.
Spread Pick: Saints -1.5
Total Pick: Under 39.5
Buccaneers vs.
Rams
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Buccaneers vs. Rams | Rams -6.5 | Los Angeles -305; Tampa Bay +245 | 49.5 |
On an otherwise very forgetable Week 12 slate, this really should be a gem of a game. I happen to think the Rams are the best team in the NFC, but I do think they might struggle somewhat here. The Buccaneers yield plenty of explosive plays, but they can also generate them too, and unlike the Seahawks, it's largely off the heroics of Baker Mayfield and less schemed things that can be taken away. The eventual return of Chris Godwin (fibula) and Bucky Irving (shoulder/ankle) will certainly help, but as of this publication it's unclear if they'll be available. I'm going off a hunch Los Angeles might be riding a bit too high after a significant divisional win last week.
Spread Pick: Buccaneers +6.5
Total Pick: Over 49.5
Panthers vs.
49ers
| Game | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
| Panthers vs. 49ers | 49ers -7 | San Francisco -345; Carolina +275 | 48.5 |
I'm not sure what possessed the NFL to make this a Monday Night game, but it worked out in their favor because this contest does have significant playoff ramifications. The 49ers are clearly the better team in my mind and probably will make the postseason when it's all said and done, but I think Carolina can sort of lull an opponent to sleep. Obviously Bryce Young was electric against the Falcons the week prior, but I'll believe there's some sort of renaissance if he plays well again Monday.
Spread Pick: Panthers +7
Total Pick: Under 48.5
