2025 Fantasy Outlook
Chubb missed the entire 2024 campaign while recovering from a serious knee injury sustained in December of 2023 -- a torn ACL, meniscus and patellar tendon. The veteran pass rusher will be over a year and a half removed from his injury by kickoff of Week 1, with all expectations being that he'll have returned to full health. Chubb's absence has been felt since his 11.0-sack season in 2023, and his return could now finally propel the Dolphins pass rush into difference-making territory. Read Past Outlooks
Wraps 2025 season with 8.5 sacks
Chubb tallied 47 tackles (24 solo), including 8.5 sacks, across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025. He also had two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
ANALYSIS
Chubb saw his production totals decline compared to last season, despite the fact that he played one more game in 2025. Across 16 regular-season appearances in 2024, he managed 73 tackles (45 solo), including 11.0 sacks, plus two passes defensed, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Chubb will look to rebound in 2026, when he will play out the final season of his contract with the Dolphins.

Chubb put together the best season of his career in his first full year with the Dolphins, but that came to an early end due to a torn ACL that he suffered in Week 17. That likely means Chubb's recovery will span well into the start of the 2024 campaign, and he could be forced to miss a fair amount of time before retaking the field, much less in full form. Still, after posting a career-high 73 tackles and 11.0 sacks in 2023, Chubb will be in good position to finally reach his ceiling, once 100 percent healthy.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
May be done with Dolphins
Dan Graziano of ESPN.com points out that the Dolphins could get substantial salary cap savings by moving on from Chubb in the offseason.
ANALYSIS
Chubb could garner some interest in the trade market coming off an 8.5-sack season, but he turns 30 in June and is set to carry cap hits north of $31 million for each of the next two seasons. With Miami cleaning house by firing head coach Mike McDaniel and already having gotten rid of general manager Chris Grier, a new regime may prefer salary cap flexibility over keeping the aging Chubb on a roster that went 7-10 in 2025.
