2025 Fantasy Outlook
Steele surprisingly won a spot on Kansas City's 53-man roster out of training camp as a UDFA and was handed 17 carries in Week 3 against the Falcons, turning them into 72 rushing yards. He quickly fell out of favor due to fumbling issues however, and his role in the offense evaporated once Kareem Hunt returned to the team and Isiah Pacheco got healthy. Kansas City has added Elijah Mitchell in free agency and threw a seventh-round dart in the draft at SMU's Breshard Smith, so Steele will need to fight to keep his roster spot in 2025. Gets chance with Eagles
Philadelphia signed Steele to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Steele didn't log a single regular-season appearance in 2025, though he did spend time on Kansas City's practice squad. Next, the hybrid fullback/running back will get an opportunity to compete for a depth role in the Eagles' backfield this offseason.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Steele wasn't selected in April's NFL Draft but has a good shot of making Kansas City's roster after turning heads in training camp. The 6-foot-1, 225-pounder brings multiple useful skills to the table: he was listed as a fullback on KC's initial depth chart and is certainly capable of serving as a lead blocker in two-back sets, but he is also a powerful runner with the ball in his hands, is solid in pass-protection and can contribute on special teams. If he does in fact make the cut, Steele could add some new wrinkles to an offense that didn't roster a fullback last season while garnering occasional carries behind Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
May see expanded Week 18 role
Steele could be in line for a notable increase in opportunity during a Week 18 matchup against the Broncos after Isiah Pacheco suffered a rib injury of unknown severity in Wednesday's 29-10 win over the Steelers, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The rookie did well with 17 carries against the Falcons way back in Week 3, recording 72 rushing yards. However, he's topped out at six rush attempts since that point in terms of a single-game high, but Steele could see a double-digit workload again in Week 18. Pacheco is likely to sit out the meaningless regular-season finale, and head coach Andy Reid may also tread somewhat carefully with veterans Kareem Hunt and Samaje Perine ahead of the postseason.
