2025 Fantasy Outlook
Tipton joined the Saints in 2024 as an undrafted free agent out of Yale, starting his rookie season strong with 14 catches on 22 targets over the first eight games. He then fell out of favor and was a healthy scratch in all but one of the final seven games. Instead, Kevin Austin and Dante Pettis carved out larger roles in a New Orleans receiving corps that was leveled by injuries over the back half of the year. Tipton will compete for a depth spot this year. Read Past Outlooks

Inactive in Week 17
Tipton (groin) is listed as inactive Sunday in Tennessee.
ANALYSIS
Tipton was listed as limited on all three of the Saints' Week 17 practice reports due to a groin injury, and while he went into the weekend with a questionable designation, he isn't healthy enough to suit up. With Tipton sidelined for the first time since Week 2, Kevin Austin, Dante Pettis and Ronnie Bell will be the team's available WR options Sunday behind No. 1 Chris Olave. Tipton's next chance for game action is Week 18 in Atlanta.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be top receiver Sunday
Tipton could serve as the Saints' de facto No. 1 receiver in Sunday's game against the Falcons with Chris Olave likely to sit out due to a concussion, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Olave is slated to see specialists after sustaining what was his second concussion of the season and fourth overall of his career during a Week 9 loss to the Panthers. While Olave is technically considered day-to-day, he appears likely to sit out at least one game, which will thrust Tipton into a more prominent role versus Atlanta. An undrafted rookie from Yale, Tipton has posted 14 receptions for 99 yards on 25 targets over his first nine NFL games, but he didn't bring in any of the three targets he logged across 57 snaps while Olave was sidelined for the majority of the Week 9 contest.
