2024 Fantasy Outlook
Citing Williams' tackle total as the reason that 2023 was the best season of his career would be underselling what he managed to accomplish. He went from among the worst linebackers in coverage in the first four years of his career to the second-best inside linebacker in PFF coverage grade in 2023. Unsurprisingly, that led to more trust from the team and Williams' highest snap count in his five years as a pro. Williams had already proven himself as an excellent tackler but his ability to develop other areas of his game will help him maintain fantasy relevance - particularly in leagues that reward tackles. Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Williams re-signed with the Jets on a three-year, $18 million contract after back-to-back 100-tackle seasons. The linebacker, who turns 27 in August, projects to return to a starting role in 2023. Quinnen Williams' brother can get lost in coverage at times and needs to work on his angles, but Quincy's one of the biggest hitters in the NFL and should continue to rack up plenty of tackles. Williams has complemented his 216 tackles over the past two seasons with 21 tackles for loss, five sacks, six passes defensed and three forced fumbles.

Team sees Pro Bowl potential
New York's coaching staff believes Williams has the potential to be a Pro Bowl caliber player, Connor Hughes of The Athletic relays.
ANALYSIS
Williams set career highs across the board last season after being claimed on waivers from the Jaguars. The linebacker had some highlight-reel hits but also overcommitted at times and got out of position. Williams should maintain a prominent role in 2022, and the Jets expect him to take a major step forward by learning to harness his aggression and play more under control.
