Fantasy managers looking to tinker with their rosters will benefit from zeroing in on specific categories. Whether you are looking for long-term fits or short-term options, there should be a plethora of potential pickups to help your squads.
Let's get into this week's suggestions for your consideration.
Jakub Dobes, G, Canadiens (37% rostered) for Starts/Saves/Wins
Dobes has won four of his last six starts. During that stretch, he allowed seven goals to the red-hot Avalanche and lost to the Blues in his second appearance in two nights. However, he has permitted two goals or fewer on three occasions and has delivered solid performances. He has outplayed Sam Montembeault and could see the bulk of the starts during a four-game week for the Canadiens.
Josh Norris, C, Sabres (34% rostered) for Goals/Points/Shots/Hits/PP/Faceoffs
Norris has hit the ground running following a 24-game absence. Since recovering from an upper-body injury, he has found the scoresheet in three straight outings while collecting two goals, three power-play assists, five shots on net and two hits. He has also won 50 percent of his 40 faceoffs. Norris possesses plenty of all-around upside on Buffalo's top line and first power-play unit, but staying healthy has been a problem for him throughout his career. Still, he is worthy of more fantasy attention going into a four-game week for the Sabres.
Jared McCann, C/LW, Kraken (29% rostered) for Goals/Points/Shots/Hits/Blocks
McCann has found the scoresheet in two of four games since returning to the lineup from a 17-game absence. While he hasn't exactly lit it up offensively after recovering from a lower-body injury, he has provided solid category coverage this season. He has four goals, two assists, 22 shots on target, seven blocked shots and 13 hits through nine appearances. Despite the scoring struggles of the Kraken, he has topped the 60-point plateau in each of the last two seasons. He is behind that pace right now, but spots on the team's top line and first power-play combination should help him be a fantasy factor during a busy four-game week for Seattle.
Elias Lindholm, C, Bruins (28% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots/Hits/Blocks/Faceoffs
Lindholm has collected eight assists, including two on the man advantage, in his last five games. He has three multipoint efforts while adding seven shots on goal and four blocked shots during that stretch. Lindholm has accumulated four goals, 17 points, 30 shots, 19 blocks and 20 hits across 20 appearances this season. He also leads Boston with 184 faceoff wins and has won 55.4 percent of his draws. The loss of David Pastrnak, who has missed the past five games with an undisclosed injury, hasn't slowed down the top line at all, and Lindholm has plenty of fantasy upside for the remainder of the season. The Bruins play three times on the road this week.
Jamie Benn, C/LW, Stars (26% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots/Hits
Benn sat out the first 19 games of the year after undergoing surgery in late September for a collapsed lung. He has notched four goals and five assists in 11 games since making his season debut in mid-November. He also has 16 shots and 20 hits. Benn has averaged a mere 13:16 of ice time per game, but he is making the most of his minutes. However, he logged a season-high 17:02 of action in Sunday's 3-2 shootout win over Pittsburgh, suggesting a bump in playing time could be on the horizon. Dallas plays three times this week.
Dennis Hildeby, G, Maple Leafs (21% rostered) for Starts/Saves/Wins
Hildeby has played well in his last four outings, including two relief appearances. He has posted a 1-0-1 record while turning aside 78 of 81 shots. Due to injuries to Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz, Hildeby occupies the top spot between the pipes for a Toronto team that has played better defensively recently. The 24-year-old Hildeby should see most of the playing time during a three-game week for the Maple Leafs.
Sean Couturier, C, Flyers (6% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots/Hits/Faceoffs
Couturier has picked up points in bunches, supplying three goals and four assists in his last nine outings. He also has 11 shots, nine blocks and 12 hits over that span. The 33-year-old center hasn't gone more than two games without finding the scoresheet since mid-November. Couturier leads the Flyers with 221 faceoff wins and owns a 52.5 percent success rate on puck drops. His multicategory coverage makes him an intriguing under-the-radar option during a four-game week for Philadelphia.
Nick Paul, C/LW, Lightning (6% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots/Hits
Paul was absent for 19 consecutive contests to begin the 2025-26 campaign after having surgery for an upper-body injury in mid-September. He has been productive since returning to the lineup, compiling two goals, four assists, 18 shots and 10 hits in nine games. Tampa Bay's parade to the infirmary this season has allowed Paul to occupy a top-six role, which has increased his fantasy value in the short term. He should continue to generate value for fantasy managers during a four-game road trip this week for Tampa Bay.
Matt Savoie, C/RW, Oilers (2% rostered) for Goals/Points/Shots
Savoie has heated up offensively, earning four goals on 13 shots and adding one assist in his last six outings. His efforts have doubled his point total to 10 through 29 appearances this season. Savoie has spent most of his time playing in Edmonton's talented top six. If he remains hot, he is worthy of at least a short-term addition during a four-game week for the Oilers.
Thomas Novak, C, Penguins (0% rostered) for Assists/Points/Shots
Novak has been hot and cold this campaign, and he's in the midst of a superb run of points. He has registered two goals and four assists in his last five appearances while adding five shots on net. He has been skating on combinations with Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby during that time. With Malkin out with an upper-body injury on Sunday against Dallas, Novak logged a season-high 17:15 of ice time while playing alongside Crosby. The 28-year-old Novak has considerable upside if he maintains that position during a four-game home stand for Pittsburgh this week.
