GOALIE
Sergei Bobrovsky, CLM vs. CHI ($7,800): The Blackhawks enter on the second leg of a back-to-back set, and Bobrovsky sports a rock-solid .921 save percentage since the calendar flipped to 2018. Additionally, Chicago has only scored 2.27 goals per 60 minutes at five-on-five on the road this season, and the Blue Jackets are allowing just 2.08.
CENTER
Nicklas Backstrom, WAS vs. BUF ($5,800): Sporting a four-game point drought, Backstrom lands in a ripe matchup to kick his offensive woes. The Sabres are allowing 3.26 goals per road game and own the second-worst Corsi For percentage in the league at five-on-five (45.97) away from the KeyBank Center.
Nico Hischier, NJD vs. NYI ($5,300): With an affordable salary, a matchup against the worst defensive team in the league and a role centering one of the NHL's hottest scorers, Hischier is a strong lean Saturday. The rookie also enters in strong form with four goals and five assists through his past seven outings, too.
WING
Taylor Hall, NJD vs. NYI ($7,400): As noted, this is a juicy matchup for the Devils with the Islanders allowing a league-high 3.52 goals and the second most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes (13.14). Hall's active 20-game point streak appears likely to extend to 21, and this salary isn't prohibitive enough to ignore him. Just note that there's a decent chance he's a chalky play.
Yanni Gourde, TB at MON ($5,300): This price doesn't match Gourde's recent form or year-long production. He enters this contest with scoresheet appearances in 13 of his past 15 contests for eight goals and nine assists, and his 2.87 points per 60 minutes rank third on the Lightning. Additionally, the Canadiens check out as a favorable matchup with Carey Price (concussion) out indefinitely.
Anthony Beauvillier, NYI at NJD ($4,500): The sophomore has been skating with Mathew Barzal of late, and the duo have combined for a high-end 5.14 goals and 15.18 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes this season. With New Jersey allowing 3.33 goals in February and starting Keith Kinkaid (.897 save percentage and 3.12 GAA for the campaign), look for Beauvillier to reward on this salary. The winger's collected 10 tallies and six helpers through his past 20 games, too.
DEFENSE
John Carlson, WAS vs. BUF ($6,600): With a solid matchup, Carlson is worth a long look. He offers a high-floor, high-ceiling combo because of his cross-category profile and huge role, as the American blueliner has collected 11 goals, 47 points, 178 shots and 105 blocked shots while logging 25:24 of ice time (3:48 with the man advantage) through 61 games this season.
Sami Vatanen, NJD vs, NYI ($4,100): Not only has Vatanen collected seven assists, 12 shots and 14 blocked shots through his past seven games, he's also now quarterbacking the No. 1 power-play unit. This price jumps off the page as a discount to plug into a Devils stack against the defensively vulnerable Islanders.
