GOALIE
Andrei Vasilevskiy, TB vs. NJ ($7,900): The Devils have lost three of their past four games, with their only win coming against the hapless Panthers. The Lightning offense hasn't been very potent, but Vasilevskiy has been excellent with a .940 save percentage and 1.83 GAA. Even without Victor Hedman, the Lightning should be heavily favored at home and Vasilevskiy comes cheaper than John Gibson ($8,100) and Antti Raanta ($8,000).
CENTER
Connor McDavid, EDM vs. MIN ($8,100): The Wild were defeated 5-2 at the hands of the Canucks last night, no thanks to another slow start and shoddy puck management. A veteran team like the Wild should bounce back quickly, but McDavid is on another level and currently riding a five-game scoring streak. The Oilers have looked good in three straight wins against Chicago, Nashville and Washington with McDavid leading the charge; the Wild should be tame compared to them.
Max Domi, MON vs. DAL ($5,200): He's come alive with a six-game point streak and through 10 games is on pace for his best season ever. He's established good chemistry with Jonathan Drouin, and with Carey Price back in form they're 4-1-0 at home. The Stars, meanwhile, have juggled their lines to create some momentum with four losses in their past six games after starting 2-0. Domi has 10 points in eight career games against the Stars.
WING
Phil Kessel, PIT vs. NYI ($7,000): He's aiming for his fourth straight two-point game after sweeping Western Canada with six points in three games, all of them wins. The Pens are flying high, and with Sidney Crosby hitting his stride, their offense is impossible to stop. The Islanders are a stingier team under Barry Trotz, but Kessel's scored 20 goals in 43 career games against them and the two teams share some bad blood that should make the game exciting.
Nikita Kucherov, TB vs. NJ ($6,300): One game after a 7-1 drubbing, Jon Cooper has reunited Kucherov with Steven Stamkos and J.T. Miller in yet another attempt to get his star players going. The Devils have been surprisingly tough but not impossible to beat, and Keith Kinkaid's play is starting to slip. Kucherov has 14 points in 12 career games against the Devils.
Tomas Hertl, SJ vs. NYR ($5,700): The Rangers are 0-2 on their road trip so far and face the Sharks, who have five players with at least 10 points. One of them is Hertl, who is on a six-game tear and assisted on two goals and registered a plus-3 rating in a road win against the rival Ducks. The Sharks offense is deep and the Rangers defense is not, so Henrik Lundqvist has his work cut out for him.
DEFENSE
John Klingberg, DAL at MON ($6,500): On a night where Burns, Letang, Subban and Giordano are all playing, it's not a bad strategy to take a little risk. Klingberg has the lowest floor because he blocks the fewest shots, but he also has a chance to outperform everyone with his scoring ability and a group of talented forwards to work with. Klingberg has scored five points in his past five games.
Dennis Cholowski, CLS vs. DET ($5,400): The former first-round pick is first among rookies in average ice time and second on the Dead Things, playing in all situations and remaining the team's top power-play quarterback even upon Mike Green's return. The Jackets' penalty kill ranks 25th, giving Cholowski and the power play even better chances to score goals. He has 20 shots on goal and 16 blocked shots this season, giving him a nice floor.
