Goalie

Semyon Varlamov, COL vs PIT ($7,600): Varlamov can expect to see at least 30 shots Monday, just as he has in three of his last four games. Pittsburgh is a completely different team on the road, averaging 2.56 goals per game. Varlamov is coming off a good start against Florida in which he racked up 32 saves on 33 shots and picked up a win.

Center

Alexander Wennberg, CBJ at BOS ($4,900): With three points in his last two games, Wennberg looks more like the breakout player we saw last year. He's centering the second line and top power-play unit, seeing over two minutes in each of his last two games with the man advantage. Over his last four games against Boston, he has points in each contest with a goal and four assists.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, EDM vs SJ ($5,800): With goals in two of his last three games, Nugent-Hopkins now has 13 on the season to go along with 10 assists. Nugent-Hopkins is nearly $4,000 less that teammate Connor McDavid, but can still provide solid production while seeing time on the power play.

Wing

Patric Hornqvist, PIT at COL ($5,800): The Penguins will a popular team in play Monday against the Avalanche. Perhaps the most popular selection will be Hornqvist, who is severely underpriced in this spot. He's skating on the top line with Sidney Crosby, which gives him a solid bump in upside. He has just one point in his last five games after a hot stretch, and he could be poised to break out here.

Jakob Silfverberg, ANH at NJ ($5,400): Silfverberg has two goals and seven shots on goal in his last three games for the Ducks after a five-game injury absence. One of those goals came on the power play, where Silfverberg skates on the top unit. With the Ducks getting healthy, Silfverberg is back skating with Ryan Getzlaf, the Ducks' top playmaker, which should give the winger plenty of scoring chances.

Oliver Bjorkstrand, CBJ at BOS ($5,000): As an option to pair up with Alexander Wennberg, Bjorkstrand is playing well right now with points in five of his last six games (a goal and seven assists over that span). Even with just an average of 13 minutes per game, Bjorkstrand is making the most of his ice time with six goals and 16 assists. He's worth a look in tournaments as part of a line stack with the aforementioned Wennberg or opposite winger Cam Atkinson.

Defense

Tyson Barrie, COL vs PIT ($5,100): In what looks to be the game of the night from an offensive standpoint, Barrie comes in with four assists in his last two games and a total of 23 on the season, which is tops among NHL defensemen. Averaging over two shots on goal per game, Barrie is an offensive-minded defenseman that has produced 10 power-play points, as well.

Olli Maatta, PIT at COL ($4,100): The Avalanche have allowed the fifth most fantasy points to defensemen over the past month. The 11 goals they've allowed to the position over that span is the most in the league. Maatta is seeing solid ice time and some power-play exposure of late due to the team's injuries. He's on pace for career highs in points and has three goals and 11 assists this year.
