Corey Crawford, CHI vs DAL ($8,400): With wins in each of his last two home starts, Crawford also comes in with good success against Dallas of late. In his last three starts against them, he's 3-0-0 with a 2.33 GAA and a save percentage of .936. Chicago, who has played well at home, comes in as a road favorite, putting Crawford in a good spot for a victory.
Center
Jonathan Toews, CHI vs DAL ($6,400): Toews has a relatively modest six goals and 10 assists on the season, but he's too underpriced in this matchup. In his last four games against the Stars, Toews has three goals and three assists. He's the seventh highest priced center on the slate, providing a good value at home.
Nicklas Backstrom, WAS vs LA ($5,800): Backstrom was recently put back on a line with Alexander Ovechkin and the two have been able to rekindle the chemistry that they've had for years. Backstrom has points in six of his last nine games — all assists, which is fitting, as he's been one of the better playmakers in the league over the last few years. He has a solid floor.
Wing
Brandon Saad, CHI vs DAL ($5,800): Saad has been a bit streaky this season, but he's playing well lately with two goals and an assist in his last three games with 11 shots on goal over that span. He's a nice value winger to stack with Toews. Saad has done most of his damage at home, scoring six of his nine goals at the United Center.
Milan Lucic, EDM vs TOR ($5,300): Lucic is the most recent skater to benefit from playing on Connor McDavid's line. He has a goal and four assists in his last six games on the top unit and No. 1 power play for Edmonton. He has quite the history against the Maple Leafs, as well, with seven goals and 23 assists in 44 games.
Clayton Keller, ARI at CGY ($5,100): Keller looks to have hit a bit of a wall of late with three assists in his last five games. His salary was hovering in the $6,500 range earlier in the month but is all the way down to $5,100 on Thursday. I like the spot for him against Calgary, which has allowed 12 goals in its last three games.
Defense
Mike Green, DET vs MTL ($4,400): This is another good spot to use Green with Montreal playing its second game in as many nights. He scored his second goal of the season in his last game to go along with 16 assists, which is near the top for helpers among NHL defensemen. In 35 games in his career against Montreal, Green has 22 points (four goals, 18 assists). Montreal has given up some production to defensemen of late and Green is underpriced in this spot.
Mattias Ekholm, NSH vs VAN ($4,500): Ekholm has continued to play well as the forgotten man on the Predators' blue line. At nearly $2,000 less than Roman Josi, Ekholm has six goals and nine assists with seven of his points coming on the power play. He's seen 25 or more minutes of ice time in four of his last five games, too.
