Missouri is coming off a 49-point outburst last week, its highest total by a wide margin against an SEC opponent this season. Both defenses are strong, which should keep things tight early, but I fully expect the Sooners to pull away late and leave Missouri chasing.

Turning back to the quarterbacks, this is set up to be a fantastic showdown. It's worth noting that Oregon opened as an 8.5-point favorite, and now that spread is creeping into double digits. That's a positive signal for the Ducks and Dante Moore, who has a very (very!) slim chance at the Heisman Trophy. Plus, this is Oregon's last home game of the regular season, and likely Moore's final big opportunity to make an impression on Heisman voters.
On the other side, you have to give credit to USC's Jordan Maiava, who has stepped into a pass-heavy system and thrown for 2+ TD passes in seven of his 10 games this year. This game should be a showcase for both quarterbacks, and that will be the catalyst in taking this game into the 60s. Points-wise, not the decade.
