MATCH PREVIEW

Germany is on a three-match unbeaten streak after opening their qualifying campaign with a 3-2 win over the Netherlands. After being relegated from the UEFA Nations League, Germany bounced back by beating the Netherlands and then picking up a 2-0 win over Belarus and 8-0 over Estonia. Additionally, Germany is excellent at home, posting clean-sheet wins in five of their last six qualifiers.

As for the Netherlands, they are looking for their second Euro 2020 qualifier win after failing to win their last three competitive games. That being said, they started their campaign with a perfect 4-0 home win over Belarus but were then denied points in the loss to Germany.

Looking at the injuries of the both teams first Germany has not reported any fresh injuries, while Stefan de Vrij (muscle) of Netherlands is doubtful.

COMBINED XI

PLAYERS RECOMMENDATIONS

Defender: Virgil van Dijk (9 credits): The 28-year-old Liverpool defender, who is averaging 4.5 clearances and 1.0 tackles per game during qualifying, is the heart of the defense and his presence at the center will not be easy for any striker to rip apart.

Midfielder: Marco Reus (10 credits): The Borussia Dortmund midfielder scored in both games, including a double strike against Estonia in June.

Forward: Timo Werner (10 credits): The RB Leipzig forward has found the back of the net five times in three games this Bundesliga season, averaging of 3.3 shots on target per game. Moreover, Werner also played in this Euro 2020 qualification where he scored a goal coming off the bench. If he is given a chance up front, he could destroy any defense.

Captain: Timo Werner

Vice-Captain: Memphis Depay
