PITCHER
Corey Kluber, CLE vs. KC ($13,400): I don't like this recommendation any more than you do, but Kluber's dominance combined with a lackluster selection of pitchers has us grabbing the big piece of chalk for our first starter. The right-hander may have the best curveball we have seen in some time, as it has registered an absurd 35.7 RAA over 184.2 innings. The Royals are a bottom-10 team against the bender and hold just a .316 wOBA against righties this season.
Eduardo Rodriguez, BOS at TB ($7,900): The uninitiated may be a bit surprised by Rodriguez's strikeout prowess, as he has fanned 135 batters over 122.1 innings while notching an 11.4 percent swinging strike rate. This could lead to big points against the Rays, who hold the highest strikeout percentage against southpaws this season to go along with a bottom-5 wOBA.
CATCHER
Cameron Rupp, PHI vs. OAK ($2,700): Rupp has yielded the lion's share of the catching duties to Jorge Alfaro, but the rookie was behind the plate Saturday, making it likely that he will get the nod in the day game. The 28-year-old has notched a .260 ISO at home this season while opposing starter Sean Manaea has allowed a .473 slugging percentage and 37 percent hard contact rate against right-handed hitters.
FIRST BASE
Freddie Freeman, ATL vs. NYM ($4,900): Opposing starter Robert Gsellman has logged a minus-15.0 RAA with his fastball while allowing a .525 slugging percentage over 36.2 innings on the road. Meanwhile, Freeman has notched a 28.7 RAA against the heater and has punished righties to the tune of a .309 ISO in 278 at-bats.
SECOND BASE
Scooter Gennett, CIN vs. PIT ($3,800):Gerrit Cole has had trouble with lefties this season, as evidenced by the 1.8 HR/9 rate and 39.3 percent hard contact rate he has allowed over 86.1 innings. Gennett has been a solid producer against right-handers and will enter the contest having logged a .255 ISO against them over 322 at-bats.
THIRD BASE
Rafael Devers, BOS at TB ($3,300): Devers has cooled a bit after a hot start to his big league career, but still holds a solid .185 ISO and 32.3 percent hard contact against right-handed pitching. Jake Odorizzi has struck out just 44 left-handed batters over 55.2 innings this season, which has contributed to a 5.51 xFIP.
SHORTSTOP
Tim Anderson, CWS at DET ($3,800): Anderson has been a machine over the final month of the season, logging a .619 slugging percentage and .438 OBP over 63 at-bats. The strong run seems likely to continue against Matt Boyd, who has allowed a .509 slugging percentage and 38.5 percent hard contact rate to righty hitters.
OUTFIELD
Max Kepler, MIN vs. TOR ($3,200): Kepler has tallied an 11.2 RAA against the fastball this season, while Joe Biagini's heater has returned negative value. The 24-year-old will bring a .219 ISO against righties into the matchup against Biagini, who has allowed a .443 slugging percentage to lefties over 42 Innings.
Jacoby Ellsbury, NYY vs. BAL ($4,000): Ellsbury has worked his way back into the lineup this month, posting a .545 slugging percentage as well as a tremendous .527 OBP over 44 at-bats. Ubaldo Jimenez should be looked at as a stack target inside hitter-friendly Yankee Stadium, as he has allowed a .611 slugging percentage to lefties in 62.1 innings.
Marwin Gonzalez, HOU vs. SEA ($3,800):Andrew Moore has allowed six homers to lefties over 20.2 innings while striking out just 11 batters over that span. Meanwhile, Gonzalez has logged a .233 ISO and .389 wOBA against righty hurlers over 301 at-bats.
