PITCHER
Rich Hill, LAD vs. SD ($21,600): Hill hasn't been as effective in the second half of the season, and while he hasn't gone deep in his past two games, he's still managed to strike out 16 batters in 11 innings. Hopefully he gets at least six innings against the Padres, who have the third-highest K% against lefties this season.
Justin Verlander, HOU at TEX ($26,400): The day slate is completely void of good pitching options outside of Verlander, so it's good news that he's been so reliable since joining the Astros. I'd normally avoid selecting a pitcher facing the Rangers, but Verlander has been matchup-proof lately. If you aren't convinced, consider the Rangers' K% against righties this season, which is the fifth-highest in the majors.
INFIELD
Nolan Arenado, COL vs. MIA ($10,800):Adam Conley takes the hill for the Marlins, and if his 5.72 ERA isn't enough to get you excited, consider he's coming off an outing when he allowed seven runs. Arenado has a .531 wOBA against lefties this year, and he's clearly the top pick among a lineup of good options. The Rockies are the best stack of the day slate and maybe the entire day.
Marwin Gonzalez, HOU at TEX ($8,400): The Astros are locked in right now and they'll face Nick Martinez, who has struggled all season and enters with a 5.72 ERA. Meanwhile, Gonzalez has a .398 wOBA against righties this season, which is second-highest on the team.
Eric Hosmer, KC vs DET ($9,000):Jordan Zimmerman has allowed 11 runs over 14 innings in his past three starts, and that's actually a huge improvement from his previous three when he allowed seven runs in each of those outings. Needless to say, he's definitely a guy we want to take advantage of and Hosmer looks like the part thanks to his team-high .402 wOBA against righties this season.
OUTFIELD
Josh Reddick, HOU at TEX ($8,400): Reddick has been out the past two games with a back issue, but hopefully he returns for this one as the matchup against Martinez is in his favor. As mentioned earlier, the Astros are pounding the ball and they'll face probably the worst starter they'll see all series. Reddick enters with a .363 wOBA against righties this season, which is third on the Astros, but even if he doesn't go, I would look hard at whoever replaces him in the lineup, as the Astros are going to score runs no matter who is in the lineup.
Austin Jackson, CLE vs. MN ($8,100): Though the Indians have some big names in their lineup, the one that always comes to mind when facing a lefty is Austin Jackson. He started the season as a specialty player who only faced lefties, but he's grown into a full-time member of the lineup. Jackson has a .428 wOBA against lefties this season, which is second on the team, and with Adalberto Mejia on the mound for the Twins, the Indians make a decent stacking option.
Eddie Rosario, MN at CLE ($9,300): The top end of the Indians' rotation is very solid, but the bottom is vulnerable. The Twins get another shot at the bottom of the rotation as Danny Salazar takes the hill for the Indians. Cleveland has done everything they can to get Salazar back on track, but nothing has worked yet. Rosario enters with a .374 wOBA against righties this season, which leads the Twins.
UTILITY
Neil Walker, MIL vs. CIN ($7,600): Though the Brewers haven't made much of a push toward the playoffs, acquiring Walker has really paid off. Walker, who will face off against Homer Bailey, has a .366 wOBA against righties this season, which is third on the Brewers, trailing only Eric Thames and Travis Shaw.
Josh Donaldson, TOR at BOS ($7,800): Though Donaldson has been one of the hottest hitters in the majors over the past couple months, his salary remains well below the upper-tier hitters. He has a .389 wOBA against righties this season and now faces Rick Porcello, who has allowed at least four runs in two of his past three starts.
