Top DFS Pitching and Team Stacking Strategies for DraftKings

In this article, I'm going to take a deeper dive into pitching and team stacking options. Let's take a look at our optimizer's rankings of the pitchers for the DraftKings eight-game main slate, sorted by projected fantasy points.

There's a bit of uncertainty at the top of the slate as the Dodgers have yet to announce a starter. We've pencilled in Tyler Glasnow, but my preference is to spend up on Garrett Crochet. Boston's ace is coming off his worst start of the year, and the only other time he went for single-digit DK points, he rebounded with 26.8 fantasy points (7 IP, 8 K's) in his next start.

We've also highlighted Bryan Woo, Yu Darvish and Simeon Woods Richardson in our optimizer. The latter is the value play of the group as he gets a $1,100 discount compared to his FanDuel salary and a matchup against the strikeout heavy Angels. Woo is another solid choice against the Cardinals, who rank 23rd in xwOBA and 24th in OPS. Note that Luis Morales ranks well in the metrics below.

Here's how each pitcher ranks in key categories (less than 10 IP marked as N/A):
