Top DFS Pitching and Team Stacking Strategies for DraftKings

In this article, I'm going to take a deeper dive into pitching and team stacking options. Let's take a look at our optimizer's rankings of the pitchers for the DraftKings nine-game main slate, sorted by projected fantasy points.

*Potential rain delay in Mariners at Rays game, but a postponement is unlikely.

Tonight's slate brings us five starters in the $9k+ range, highlighted by our highest projected in Bryan Woo. The 25-year-old is once again having an excellent campaign with an ERA under 3.00 and WHIP under 1.00. A matchup against the Rays is solid as they've struggled to get much production outside of their 2-4 hitters.

We've also starred Logan Webb, Yu Darvish and Mitch Farris in our optimizer. The appeal to Webb is that he's $1,500 cheaper than Woo, and he's certainly good enough to overcome pitching at Coors Field. Meanwhile, Darvish checks in as our top point-per-dollar starter. The inconsistent veteran has GPP appeal having gone for 23+ DK points in three of his last six starts.

Farris will be making his MLB debut while Tyler Wells makes his season debut after missing 15 months due to UCL revision. Note that Framber Valdez and Drew Rasmussen rank well in the metrics below.

Here's how each pitcher ranks in key categories (less than 10 IP marked as N/A):
