Best NBA Bets Today
Kevin Porter Jr. over 20.5 points (-115) vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Hard Rock, 4:00 PM CT
Alex Barutha: Porter has a combined 56 points across his past two outings, and with Giannis Antetokounmpo off the court, Porter averages 33.2 points per 36 minutes. He'll be facing the 76ers, who are traveling for the back-to-back after getting the hard-fought win over the Warriors last night, so I'm expecting some tired defensive legs. The Sixers are also giving up the third-most points per game to pick-and-roll ballhandlers this season (17.8).
Jordan Walsh over 4.5 rebounds (-140) vs. Los Angeles Lakers
BetMGM, 2:30pm EST
Ken Crites: Walsh has been a hustle beast over the past 10 games, all of which he's started. Over that time, he averaged 8.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.9 stocks over 24.6 minutes per game. Tonight, he faces the Lakers on the second game of a back-to-back. Fellow vets such as Derek White, Payton Pritchard and Neemias Queta are coming in tired after last night's win over Washington. But I expect Walsh to continue behing a fireball of energy. Energy is his job. When he fails at that job, they'll give his spot back to Josh Minott. The K-Train is 6-2 this season and 56-45 overall, so feel free to fade!
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Under 31.5 points (-105) vs. Dallas Mavericks
DraftKings, 3:50 PM CT
Ryan Pohle: The Mavs held Gilgeous-Alexander in check in their earlier meeting this season, holding the reigning MVP to 23 points on 10-of-22 shooting while only letting him attempt two free throws. Anthony Davis is back and helps limit easy buckets at the rim, while Jalen Williams has seen increased scoring in every game since his return. Another key factor is that the Thunder are a 15-point home favorite, so it's possible that SGA won't be needed in the fourth quarter and may only see 30 minutes.
