Best NBA Bets Tonight
Chet Holmgren over 17.5 points (-113) at Indiana Pacers
DraftKings, 3:59 PM CT
Alex Barutha: I'm riding the wave after Holmgren's impressive Opening Night performance against the jumbo-sized Houston Rockets, where he had 28 points on 11-17 FG and 4-4 FT in 38 minutes. This matchup projects much softer, partially because the Pacers are simply worse than the Rockets, but also because Indiana may have the worst center rotation in the NBA. Holmgren should also be matchup-proof if the Pacers decide to go small.
Ajay Mitchell O1.5 made threes (+110) at Indiana Pacers
DraftKings, 3:22 PM CT
Nick Whalen: This feels like an obvious spot after Mitchell launched six attempts in just 15 minutes on opening night, but the Thunder will likely ask him to keep firing away with all three of Alex Caruso, Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe sidelined.
Cameron Johnson O2.5 made threes (+103) at Golden State Warriors
DraftKings, 3:22 PM CT
Nick Whalen: Making his Nuggets debut, I like Johnson to be involved as a spot-up shooter right away. He's essentially filling the Michael Porter Jr. role and should be in position to be fed open, quality looks from Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic. Over the last four seasons, Johnson is shooting 40.2 percent from three.
Nikola Jokic over 10.5 rebounds at Golden State Warriors
(BetMGM), 10:54 AM CT
Jeremy Schneider: I come into this season's best bets with a spotless 1-0 record — thanks to a heroic Kevin Porter PRA over I picked as a wide-eyed intern back in the spring. Let the heater continue! Jokic averaged 12.7 rebounds last season and recorded 11 or more boards in 55 games across the regular season and playoffs. He's the ultimate stat-sheet stuffer, and I'm expecting a monster performance to kick off the 2025-26 campaign.
