After the Pelicans swept past the Blazers on Saturday, the Warriors have a chance to move on Sunday as well up 3-0 against the Spurs. There are four games in total on the schedule, so let's take a look at some players to target when crafting your DraftKings entry.
Guards
John Wall, WAS vs. TOR ($9,900): Wall is having a great series, scoring at least 47.5 DraftKings points in all three games, while tallying 61.8 DraftKings points twice. Not only has he been one of their scoring leaders, but he's also averaging 12.7 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.3 blocks in the series. With the Wizards looking to even things up, expect Wall to be heavily involved again Sunday.
Klay Thompson, GS at SA ($6,600): With Stephen Curry (knee) out, Thompson has stepped up offensively in this series, averaging 25.7 points and 4.3 three-pointers. He is seeing a ton of playing time, averaging 37 minutes per contest. Although he doesn't provide much in the way of rebounds or assists, he can still score enough to be worth consideration at this price.
Patty Mills, SA vs. GS (4,800): After a disappointing Game 1 where Mills scored just 9.5 DraftKings points, he has rebounded to score at least 25 DraftKings points in both of the last two games. He attempted only five shots in Game 1, but has 29 total shot attempts since. The Spurs need his scoring so expect him to receive increased opportunities to score again Sunday. At this cheap price, he might be worth the risk in tournament play.
Forwards
LeBron James, CLE at IND ($11,900): It's not often that you see James on a team down 2-1 in the first round of the playoffs. The Cavaliers as a whole are not having a good series, but James has excelled with at least 59.5 DraftKings points in all three games. He's going to have to carry the team to have any chance of winning Sunday, leaving him with tremendous upside once again.
Jaylen Brown, BOS at MIL ($6,700): The Celtics were beaten soundly in Game 3, leaving Brown to score only 18 DraftKings points in 29 minutes. He had scored at least 34.5 DraftKings points in both of the first two games, largely on the strength of his offense. He attempted 41 total shots in those games, but only attempted nine shots in Game 3. Expect the Celtics to get him more involved again Sunday.
Bojan Bogdanovic, IND vs. CLE ($5,200): In the two games that the Pacers have won in this series, Bogdanovic has scored 30 and 37.5 DraftKings points, respectively. When they lost Game 2, he was held to 19.3 DraftKings points. He attempted at least 15 shots in both wins, but only six in their one loss. With his offensive upside, he is certainly a viable option at this price for Game 4.
Centers
Draymond Green, GS at SA ($7,700): Green doesn't provide a ton of offense, but he has been valuable overall by averaging 10.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.7 blocks through three games. With Curry sidelined, his ability to help facilitate the offense has been crucial to the Warriors success. He's significantly cheaper than top center LaMarcus Aldridge ($9,000), but it wouldn't be surprising if they ended up with similar production in terms of DraftKings points.
Serge Ibaka, TOR at WAS ($6,000): After scoring at least 30.8 DraftKings points in both of the first two games of the series, Ibaka flopped with 12 DraftKings points in Game 3. He took only four shots in that contest, which was the main culprit for his dip in production. He is clearly not the Raptors main offensive weapon, but expect him to be more involved and provide value in Game 4.
Thon Maker, MIL vs. BOS ($3,800): Maker was basically nonexistent in the first two games of the series, but played 24 minutes with John Henson (back) out for Game 3. He couldn't have played much better, finishing with 33.8 DraftKings points. Henson is doubtful for Sunday, which should leave Maker with added playing time again. While it will be difficult for him to match last game's production, he doesn't need to in order to still have value at this cheap price.
